Philip and Alexandra are photography friends. They visited us last year and they came again this year. Except this year, I went to pick them up. They are engaged and I thought it would be fun to take a wild ride through the country and do an awesome engagement session of them. Here's a list of places we went. I'm probably missing some. Atlanta, GA Biloxi, MS New Orleans, LA Grand Isle, LA Baton Rouge, LA Paris, TX Topeka, KS Kansas City, MO St. Louis, TX These are just some of the great places we visited on their trip and made an effort to get portraits made. Some were more candid. Some were more posed but overall, it's a "session" I'll NEVER forget. In total, the trip was over 3,000 miles and we ended with close to 2,000 exposures.  These photos are long overdue and we're excited to finally be able to blog them! We did these last spring or summer and so that's why these photos are so green and full of flowers! We did these lovely photos at Gage Park in Topeka. For little kids, it's one of our favorite locations as there are lots of wonderful little nooks and crannies to stick them in lol! Blythe came to our studio with very proud parents and we know exactly why. She is just adorable. She was such a content and happy baby and for three months old, most babies give us a smirk at most but she gave us awesome expressions! We love the props and blankets that Dan and Bethany brought for Blythe. Small details like that make the session extra fun in our opinion. So here we go, enjoy this blog post!  We've been photographing this little guy since he was just a tiny little baby! I remember each time and he is just precious! Landon is so expressive and smiley and has a personality a mile tall! Tonight when mom and dad were previewing his images, he was just walking around our studio talking up a storm and I couldn't stop smiling at him! He is really such a sweet and special boy.  We are very happy to present this beautiful family portrait session done in our studio a week or so ago. Many families wait til theres a reason to have portraits done or they never do and it never gets done. Well these guys have had a few close calls in their lives and knew just how important it is to have beautiful images of their family together. They were a COMPLETE pleasure to work with. Being completely honest and truthful, I absolutely loved every image that we got from their session. They were just the nicest and coolest family we could have photographed! So, Philip and Alexandra from Lenz Photography (Atlanta, GA) and Holly and myself are all out on a couple date at Texas Roadhouse. Our favorite place for steak in Topeka. And we were sort of celebrating a great month that we had all had together before Philip and Alexandra headed out the next morning to go back home to Georgia. The non perceptive person I am never put two and two together as I walked by Jace and Katie's table. It was Valentine's Day and she had a ton of roses on the table. I thought, wow, this dude is showing up the rest of us guys. Nice roses! I come back from the bathroom and moments later I see them stand up and Jace gets down on one knee to propose to Katie. I am not sure I've ever seen a proposal in real life. It was pretty freakin cool! I attempted to record it on my phone but no luck. But Alexandra who is super outgoing and excited to talk to people ran and got her camera. She HAD to get a picture of these guys. It was funny watching her posing the

 This morning, we had a fantastic session with Kyra! What an adorable, beautiful little girl! She is in our First Year Baby Plan and so it was great seeing her again and how much she's grown! She's beautiful and we were surprised at how smiley she was! Three month olds generally don't smile as much as she did so that made us so happy! We look forward to more sessions with her!
