Handsome Hank graces our blog! Super cute newborn shoot!!! Osage County's Premier Newborn Photographers

Image
The baby with a thousand expressions. Mr Hank made everyone smile with his adorable demeanor and expressions. He is a beautiful and handsome baby boy that did perfect in the studio! He barely cried and while most babies who are being photographed cry while they are awake, he just gave us the most adorable expressions!! He was definitely an ideal baby! He even gave a smile!! That's super rare! I love Hank's session and I'm glad you are able to see these!! Another great thing is we will be photographing him lots over the coming year! He's in our First Year Baby Plan so 3,6,9 and 12 months he'll be coming in for updated photos. I love when babies do that because it's amazing how much they grow in that time!! Thanks for checking out the blog!! Enjoy!  ROCK ON HANK!!!  A smiling baby! There's nothing better!!!  Phenomenal shoot with two love birds. Lindsey and Sterling are crazy about each other and their session was so much fun! We had so many laughs and giggles, I couldn't have asked for a better session. The weather was amazing and no wind! They had tons of amazing images. Here's a few highlights I especially love! A drive through western Kansas. The fields are on fire!

I'm no landscape photography but I do love photography and I love Kansas. Kansas has extreme weather and dramatic skies. It's landscapes are rolling and beautiful. It's desolate in many places and the emptiness of it reminds me of days gone by. Yesterday we shot a session in Quinter Kansas. As we drove back we decided to stop along the way and take photos of things we found interesting. It was a fun day for photography. These are some of my favorite shots from the drive from Quinter to Topeka.  We stopped when we saw these beautiful horses. They were very friendly! We only stopped for a few minutes. A policeman pulled up behind us and told us to move it along lol.  Just south of Manhattan along I-70 we saw fields burning. For those who live in Kansas know it's a controlled burn but nonetheless it makes for interesting and beautiful images.  The mix of the blue sky, barren hills, charred ground, thick smoke made for some very moody photos.

Recently I purchased an old vintage lens off ebay. It's old but amazing. It's super sharp and gives the photos a very beautiful and unique look. So of course, I wanted to play around and practice with it once I got it. No one got dressed up or combed their hair. I don't even think my wife had makeup on. She had her hair in a pony tail. We were completely comfortable and in our element. Our newest son, Olympas, 2 months old, was in a joyous and giggly mood. These photos took place over about 2 hours time. In our photography, we do pose a lot and use lights, etc. But with these photos I wanted to get back to the basics with natural positions, natural lighting, manual focusing, real expressions, etc. The results.. a beautiful, fun, happy, real, set of photos I will cherish forever. I love my family so much and will look back on these photos fondly in the future.  We wrapped up Olympas and the dogs kept jumping up on the chair to lick his fac
