We absolutely adore the Atchison children, so we were excited when they booked a mini session with us.  Recently we photographed Lainey and the family for her maternity session. As we speak, they've already had their baby so we will be seeing baby Asher soon!!!  They were in such high spirits and the day could not have been more beautiful. Their session was fun and adorable. I really love this family, they are such a precious group of people. Greyson will be such a great big brother. He was so happy and well behaved, I was VERY impressed with him! He's a doll! We have been shooting Chris and Tabby for so long, they are almost like family. We were so excited for them to find out that they are going to be parents soon. They have tried for many years to have a baby, and it’s finally their time. We know they are going to be such amazing parents.  We couldn’t tell if it was the unique sunset or if Tabby was just radiating sunshine from her smile.   We met up with the Garst family in downtown Topeka to get some really unique family portraits at a location that we do would be awesome. We went under the Kansas Avenue bridge and guts so much variety and just that little block of space, and it looks amazing. Their outfits all matched the background, and their fun personalities definitely made the session so fun!  The love that mom and dad have for each other and the love that they have for their children were so strong and it was amazing to capture it during their session. They were laughing and hugging and had some of the cutest most unique family portraits that we’ve ever taken. What a great spot for a great family. We have patiently waited for Daniel’s arrival since shooting Alaina’s maternity session. He was just as cute as we expected, and he has so much hair that it could be styled in a mohawk. He had the perfect newborn session, and he was settled the entire time. He was relaxed and sleepy and let us post him and some of our new props, and we got to end the session with him on a saddle. Daniel’s mom is a horse trainer so the saddle meant a lot to her. We are so excited for his pictures, we know you’ll love them too. T.H. Peterson: What did your other children think when you told them you were pregnant with Daniel?   Alaina: David wasnt old enough to understand and he's  still trying to figure it out! Aurora  was suprised but excited to have another sibling.  Who does daniel look more like? T.H. P.: Who does Daniel look most like? Alaina: Most people think he looks like Dad, I just think he looks so much like his brother did. T.H. P.: What is your favorite feature of his?
