  When we met Waylon for the first time, we knew he was going to be a great newborn for us to photograph.  He slept through the majority of the session, allowing us to pose him so easily!  He even let us put a rattail on him HAHA!  We had a great session and he was such an easy baby.  We are so excited to share this awesome session with all of you! Thank you for checking it out! T.H. Peterson: What kind of pregnancy, labor and delivery did you have? Erin:  A pretty simple, but long pregnancy. No complications. L&D went differently than we hoped for. We ended up having an emergency c-section due to Waylon's heart rate dropping with each contraction. It was a scary experience to say the least. But, within 25 minutes he was in our arms, happy and healthy. T.H. P.:  What was everyone's reaction to the news that you were pregnant? Erin:  Everybody was SO excited! It was news they had all been waiting for since we tied the knot in 2019. T.H. P.:  What is one baby item you could n

Okay so where do I start? Natalie was such a special young lady. Her shoot was beautiful and perfect but I realized when we were done just how impressive Natalie is. As you'll read in this interview she said a movie she saw recently was "adorable and inspiring" and I laughed because that's exactly how I would describe Natalie! She is down to earth and confident and humble and smart and beautiful! She has a bright future for sure!! So excited to share her session. We did these on her property for the most part and I absolutely loved every part of her shoot! Enjoy!   T.H. Peterson: What are you most excited about for your senior year? Natalie:  I am most excited about cheering at football games with my Cheer team and competing at State cheer!   T.H. P.: What are your plans after high school? Natalie: During my senior year I am attending Washburn Tech Cosmetology program. I would also love to build my own wedding venue some day and prepare the bride for her special day!

Our session with Justin and Erin was beautiful! They are so nice and I loved watching their interaction with each other. It was fun to capture that chemistry. We had a perfect summer afternoon, not too hot, to photograph them in some of our favorite locations in Topeka. The smiles on their faces were real joy and happiness. There's nothing better.   Ellie is such a sweetheart and she is part of our first year baby plan.  She has changed so much since her newborn session, and she is such a smiley baby girl!  She warmed right up to us and she had some fantastic outfits and headbands!  Her sunflower summer dress was as cute as her pearl snap flannel shirt.  We are so excited to show off this little firecracker!  Enjoy!
