Interview with Aysha Houk - Iola High Class of 2023 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Aysha was a very unique young lady. From the car she drove, to her aspirations after high school to her quiet yet confident personality, she was a blast to photograph and made me realize that I actually felt honored to meet and photograph her. She is a one of a kind. She looks young but seems very mature for her age. Aysha is very photogenic and her ideas for her session were really fun. We drove to Iola for her shoot and it was great because we got to photograph in locations that we never do. So all in all, I absolutely loved her session and am so excited to share it. Iola, you should be proud and Miss Aysha will do big things. I feel it!

T.H. Peterson: What are you looking forward to most your senior year?

Aysha: I’m looking forward to playing sports one last time with a great group of people!

T.H. P.: What are your plans after high school?

Aysha: I would like to go to a lineman training program after high school to become a lineman.

T.H. P.: What do you love about softball so much?

Aysha: I love the way it sounds when the softball hits your glove or the sound it makes coming off the bat. It has always just been a getaway sport.

T.H. P.: Worst injury you've had playing?

Aysha: I’ve never been terribly injured, I think the longest I was out was 3-4 weeks with a rolled ankle.

T.H. P.: Describe yourself in 3 words?

Aysha: Funny (somewhat), charismatic, and forgetful.

T.H. P.: Tell me about the bug. That's such a cool car.

Aysha: There’s not much to say about her (curby) other than she’s a beauty and a young teenager impulse buy.

T.H. P.: Describe your fashion sense in a word.

Aysha: Unpredictable

T.H. P.: What did you like most about your session with us?

Aysha: You guys were funny and I never felt uncomfortable while shooting.

T.H. P.: Favorite Youtube channel?

Aysha:  Mr Beast

T.H. P.: If you could tell the world one thing and hoped they'd listen, what would you say? Aysha: That there’s all kinds of kinds and that’s not such a bad thing. So don’t judge somebody based on one thing about them because at the end of the day it takes differences to make the world go around.
