Interview with Haley Custenborder - Topeka High Class of 2025 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Image
Last week, I had the chance to photograph Haley, and it was such a fun experience! Haley is super cute and has a great personality that made the session so easy and enjoyable. We started at the Topeka Zoo, where she had a really special moment with the giraffes. Haley is passionate about giraffes, and she even got to feed them, which made for some amazing and unique photos. You could tell how much she loves them, and it was awesome to capture that connection on camera. After the zoo, we headed to the golf course for some more photos. Golf is another big part of Haley's life, and it’s something she’s been doing for a long time. She’s really good at it too! The photos at the course were so cool because they showed a different side of her personality. It was a perfect way to wrap up the session, blending her love for animals and her passion for sports. Haley was such a joy to work with, and I’m so excited for her to see how the photos turned out! T.H. Peterson: What are your plans aft...

Photographing Ty was a blast, he had such a laid back personality and was really easy to pose and direct. Lots of times senior boys take a while to get comfortable and into the shoot, Ty was having fun from the beginning! We took some on the golf course, out by the dam and we ended at Jade Seed and Outdoor Supply. That actually ended up being one of my favorite parts of the whole shoot. It was a ton of fun! Here are some of our favorites from the whole session! Enjoy! T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school?  Ty: I am undecided on what I want to major in. T.H. A proud Taylor Swift fan, Madison wanted to incorporate her love for the iconic artist into the session.  She made the whole session so fun, and I’m so happy with how the pictures came out. Collier - Rees Family on the Farm - Beautiful Generation Session - Topeka's Best Family Photographers

Image
Photographing the Rees and Collier families is always a joy, and their recent generational session was no exception. We gathered at mom and dad’s family farm, where the kids grew up—a stunning countryside backdrop complete with a red barn and grazing horses. It was the perfect setting to celebrate their family’s love and history. The session was filled with smiles and laughter, with the kids stealing the show with their adorable grins. Mom and dad beamed with pride, surrounded by their children and grandchildren. Capturing these special moments in a place so meaningful to their story was truly an honor. Thank you, Rees and Collier families, for letting me document this beautiful chapter!  To book your own session, please call Tommy or Holly at 785.793.2492 or 785.213.0812 or email tommy@thpetersonphoto.com
