Interview with Parker Johnson - Washburn Rural Class of 2026 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

We had such a great time photographing Parker around downtown Topeka, Washburn Rural, and the Kansas Governor’s Mansion. He brought his car along and even included his girlfriend in a few shots, which made the session extra fun. Parker is super photogenic and gave us plenty of nice smiles, making it easy to capture his personality on camera. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, with a beautiful sunset and an amazing sky to top it all off. The setting sun gave us some truly stunning images that Parker will have to remember this special time. Overall, it was a fun, relaxed session, and we couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out! T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school? Mark and Allison's Maternity Session - Beautiful family and milestone session - Topeka's Best Maternity and Newborn Photographers

Image
Yesterday, I had the joy of photographing Allison and Mark’s maternity session out at Osage County Fishing Lake. They’re getting ready to welcome their second little one, and it was so special to include their daughter Riley in the session. I actually photographed Allison’s first maternity session when Riley was still in mama’s belly, so it feels extra meaningful to capture this new chapter. Riley is absolutely adorable and already so excited to become a big sister. We were able to get a wonderful mix of images—sweet portraits of Allison by herself, and beautiful family photos with all three of them together. The love and connection between them really came through, and I know this new baby is going to be surrounded with so much joy. Riley is going to be the best big sister, and I can’t wait for this family to meet their newest addition. These are some of my favorites from their session—thanks so much for taking a look! Parker's newborn session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
Meet Parker! We photographed him in the studio for his newborn session, and right away I couldn’t help but notice how smiley he was. I even told his mom he might have been the smiliest baby we’ve ever had in front of the camera. Then she pulled out the pictures we took of his big brother when he was a newborn, and it all came back to me—he was just as smiley! It’s pretty incredible to see those sweet similarities between the two boys. Parker was such a calm, chill little guy, which made the whole session flow so smoothly. He gave us so many cute expressions and had such an animated little face. It was such a joy spending time with this sweet family again and capturing these new memories. I’m thrilled with how the photos turned out and can’t wait for them to look back on these images for years to come. T.H. Peterson: What were your first thoughts when you saw Parker? Janine: I think I thought something along the lines of “he’s really here!” I was so glad he arrived safely and...
