Abel's 3 month session - Adorable milestone session - Topeka's Best Baby Photographers

Image
We had baby Abel in the studio for his three-month session, and he was such a joy to photograph! He wasn’t super smiley that day, but he had the cutest little face and gave us so many different expressions. You could tell he was really curious about everything going on around him—watching us with an inquisitive look the whole time. His big sister came along to help, and she did such a great job getting his attention. Thanks to her, we were able to capture some beautiful looks from Abel. Here are a few of our favorites from the session!  To book your own session, please call Tommy or Holly at 785.793.2492 or 785.213.0812 or email tommy@thpetersonphoto.com

Kinsley's newborn session - Interview with mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
Meet sweet baby Kinsley! She came to our studio for her newborn session, and what a beautiful baby she is. Kinsley had the most expressive little face—we saw so many emotions and adorable looks from her during the session. She even gave us the tiniest little smile, and it melted our hearts. Her mom, Riley, couldn't stop talking about how special she is, and we could definitely see why. Kinsley is not only beautiful, but also full of personality already! Kinsley was such a dream to photograph. She was calm, cooperative, and happy to pose for us. Because she was so easygoing, we were able to try lots of different setups and ended up with more photos than we usually get at a newborn session! She truly was the perfect little model. We had a great time capturing these sweet memories for Riley, and we feel so lucky to have spent time with such a precious baby girl. T.H. Peterson: How did you come up with Kinsley's name?   Riley: We always knew that we wanted to pass down her mid...

Amber and Matt's amazing and unique day! Abe and Jake's Landing - Lawrence, KS

Image
Amber and Matt’s wedding at Abe and Jake’s Landing in Lawrence, Kansas, was such a beautiful celebration. From the moment I arrived, it was clear how much love and respect they have for each other. The smiles, the tears, the laughter, and all the warm hugs made the day feel so full of emotion. They looked absolutely amazing, and their beautiful family added even more joy to the day. It was one of those weddings that just felt special from start to finish. One of the most unique parts of their wedding was the live cover band from Kansas City playing Talking Heads songs — such a fun and unexpected twist! I’ve never seen anything like it at a wedding, and it brought so much energy to the night. The dance floor stayed full with guests of all ages having the best time. Amber and Matt are truly lovely people with a deep connection and obvious dedication to each other. It was an honor to be a part of their day, and I know their life together will be just as joyful and meaningful as their wedd...

Interview with Zachary Robinson - Washburn Rural Class of 2026 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Image
Zach’s senior session was absolutely killer! We started downtown and then finished at Kaw River Park just as the sun was setting, and the lighting could not have been more perfect. Zach brought his guitar along, and it was easy to see how passionate he is about playing. He’s completely self-taught and doesn’t even read sheet music — just plays by ear and feeling. That made his session feel so personal and unique, and it really showed off his talent and personality. Zach is such a fast learner and such a nice guy. He made the whole session fun and easy, and his great attitude really shined through in every photo. I know he will go far in life because of how hard he works and how much he cares about what he does. It was a joy to photograph him and capture this exciting moment in his life! T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school? Zach: I enjoy music and want to ideally be a session musician T.H. P: How long have you played guitar? Zach: 4 years T.H. P: Favorite song cur...
