Sunny Winter Family Session - The Ridgeway Family - Topeka's Best Family Photographers

Image
We went out to a nearby farm in Scranton to photograph the Ridgeway family. The snow was covering the ground but it wasn’t cold, it was actually a perfect day!  We were surrounded by farm animals, horses, donkeys, and dogs!  We got some great portraits in front of their barn, then had a snowball fight at the pond. We ended the shoot with pictures of their Great Pyrenees puppies. It was a really fun shoot!!  Thanks for checking it out! To book your own session, please call Tommy or Holly at 785.793.2492 or 785.213.0812 or email tommy@thpetersonphoto.com

We have been photographing the these guys for nearly a decade and we always enjoy hanging out with them. Their kids are naturals in front of the camera and their smiles and laughs are so great!  Mom and dad have such a great connection and it’s evident in their images! We love this family session!  Thank you for checking it out!  To book your own session, please call Tommy or Holly at 785.793.2492 or 785.213.0812 or email tommy@thpetersonphoto.com

Interview with Maddy Thomas - Class of 2022 - Topeka's Senior Portrait Photographers

Madison and her aunt met up with us for her senior pictures and she was shy at first, but by the end of her session, she was relaxed and gave us great smiles!    We went to a nearby park in Topeka and even though it was windy, you couldn’t tell from her photos.  She had such a great smile!  Everytime we told her to make a serious face she would burst out laughing!  What a great shoot!  We hope you love her images as much as we do! T.H. P.: If you were stranded on a desert island, what five things would you need to survive and why? Maddy: Shelter, water, fire, food and mindset. T.H. P.: Do you have a special place where you go to get away and be alone? If so, where is it and why is this place so special? Maddy: I go to my room, it’s quieter. T.H. P.: When you look back on this school in later years, what will you remember most? Maddy: Going into junior year when I had to move with my aunt. T.H. P.: What's something outrageous you desperately want to try before you die? Maddy: Bun

Cole's session was legit. We kept it simple, shot at his high school and then ended the session at Melvern Lake but I absolutely love every part of the session. His sports photos, which were about half the session were amazing and going to the lake, we got some great images out there as well. I'm super happy with how the whole thing turned out. Cole is such a great guy and was a lot of fun to hang out with and photograph. Here are some highlights from his session. Definitely worth checking out. Cole is going to do well in life, he's got a great attitude and a grounded perspective. Honored to know him. T.H. Peterson: What was your favorite part of the session with us? Cole: I liked how friendly and laid back the session was. T.H. P.: What is one thing you want the older generation to understand about your generation? Cole: I want them to know that our generation is hard working and that we want to change the world. T.H. P.: What sets you apart from the other students in your
