  I was very honored to photograph Lily with her cow Katie! She’s had a successful career with Lily and these portraits were to commemorate that! When I got to their ranch, it was so windy but we found a great area where the wind was blocked by hills and because of that we were able to get an amazing backdrop of the sky. It could not have been more amazing!!! The skies had a purple tint to them which matched Lily’s shirt. Lily is a remarkable young lady and has a bright future. It’s great to know her and her family, I’ve been photographing her since she was little and it’s been amazing to see her grow up into a beautiful young lady! T.H. Peterson: How did you get your start showing Katie?  Lily: About a year ago, after evaluating about 75 heifers very closely I was able to narrow it down to about 4 to pick from for the next show. Out of that 4 there were 2 that really stuck out in my mind, one was black and the other was red. So I took these two females home and started to halt

We had an amazing time with these guys! It could not have been a better, more beautiful afternoon. The light was perfect, the weather was amazing and we had a wonderful time capturing beautiful moments with them. I always love fall, though here in Kansas, it seems to be short lived; which is why I guess it's probably more loved! Lola and Atticus, their beautiful dogs, were super fun to photograph as well and added to the experience. I love the connection they have with each other and super thrilled with how the images turned out. Thank you for checking out their shoot!   We met up with Victoria and her extended family at the Kansas History Museum to take some family pictures and we could not have asked for a better day or a better group of people!  They were all so much fun! We spent a good portion of the time trying to figure out how to get Lucas, the littlest member of the family, to smile. Once we learned that Lucas loves Tommy, we knew what we had to do!  We used Tommy as bait and got some incredible pictures of the entire family with the sun at their backs, standing in the road. We got some amazing breakdowns of the family in the tall wheat grass and they were so SO BEAUTIFUL!  This was such a great sunset family session, and we are so happy with the results! Enjoy! Noah is one of the sweetest little guys we have ever photographed.  He and his family have been coming to us for years, and we love having them visit!  He sure enjoyed being swaddled, and did such a good job considering he was less than two days old!  Such a little cutie! Since Noah is a fall baby, we decided to add a few special touches to his photos, some Autumn leaves from the tree across the street!  He looked SOOOOOO CUTE!!! Noah and his mom, dad, brother and sister also got some family photos, and we really love when we can do that in a session! They will be able to look back on those photos for years to come, remembering how small and delicate Noah was.  We love the Hardee Family and we look forward to photographing all of them for years to come!
