Delaney's 9 month shoot - First Year Baby Plan - Topeka's Best Baby and Family Photographers

Image
We love seeing Delaney through her milestones, and today she came in for her 9-month session and she nailed it!!  ( She's a part of our First Year Baby Plan) She was so happy and full of energy! Her mom picked some super cute summer-like outfits to go with our Valentine’s Day backdrops!  She looked so cute with her blonde hair and her bluejeans and fringe boots. She posed with our fun carousel horse, and on our new pink couch!  After an outfit change to some shorts and jellies, she was ready to smile for us on the rug, on the horse and in front of a new backdrop! She had to be bribed a little with snacks, but that was okay!  She did such a great job and we can’t wait for her one-year shoot!! To book your own session, please call Tommy or Holly at 785.793.2492 or 785.213.0812 or email tommy@thpetersonphoto.com You can also get info on our First Year Baby Plan here!

Everly's newborn shoot - Interview with mom - Osage County's Premier Newborn Photographers

Image
Everly is the cutest little lady with her adorable bright eyes and her sweet face!  She is just like a precious doll! She took a while to get settled in, and she had a few breaks with mommy, but overall her session was super amazing!  She had some great shots with her sleeping on the newborn bag, and she really posed herself. Her little hands looked so cute when she pulled them up to her face as she slept.  We were able to wrap her in this pretty teal color and she looked so perfect! Mom watched and helped our assistant as we worked to get her session going.   T.H. Peterson:  How did you find out you were pregnant? Was it a shock or expected? Erin:  It was a definite surprise! Our 7 year old was very excited to finally have a sibling on the way. T.H. P.:  How did your oldest daughter react to seeing her sister for the first time? Erin:  Ella was so excited to walk into the hospital room and see her new baby sister. It was one of the few times Ella was actually speechless! S

Charlotte's Newborn Session - Interview with mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Charlotte came in for her newborn session and she was very alert!  She had big bright eyes and cute cheeks! She was so adorable and posed herself in most of the wraps and props.  Mom and dad enjoyed watching their precious baby girl during the entire session! Charlotte preferred to nurse, but we needed to work around it so our assistant had to improvise and use her pinky finger to soothe the baby.  We were able to pose her in some cool props and we tried some new techniques! We also got some beautiful pictures of mom. dad and Charlotte. How sweet!!! Enjoy! T. H. Peterson: How did you find out you were pregnant? Was it a shock or expected? Rachael:  Actually it was on Mother’s Day. At church everyone kept joking with me asking if I was celebrating this year and I reassured them I was not pregnant. Later that day I bought a test and found out I had just lied to everyone by accident. I was shocked yes, it was not expected at all. T. H. P.: What is your favorite thing about

Lakyn - Eloise's Newborn Session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
Lakyn and her family came in for newborn pictures and the first thing we noticed is she had SOOOO much hair!  Her hair was long, dark and thick, and her cheeks were so chunky and cute! She was wide-eyed for the majority of the shoot and she was so strong, she held her own head up!  We just loved the shots of her looking right at the camera! Her older sister, Evelyn, is already so in love with her baby sister. She was very concerned the whole time with where her sissy was and what we were doing with the baby.  It was so cute! Mom and Dad are so very blessed with such adorable girls! We are blessed to be able to have this kind of rewarding job! Enjoy this session!! T.H. Peterson:  How did you find out you were pregnant?  Was it a shock or expected? Jamie:  We were expecting to be pregnant. I actually took a test then had my oldest daughter hand it to my husband to surprise him. T.H. P.:  How did your oldest daughter react to seeing her sister for the first time? J

Eloise's Newborn Session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

We fell in love with Eloise the second we saw her beautiful face with her inquisitive look. A look that just melts your heart. After her momma got rid of her hiccups that were making her mad. She was full of smiles and poses. She was such a delightful little girl to work with. Now I understand why her brother is all about her! Who wouldn't be.   T.H. Peterson:  What did you think / feel when you found out you were pregnant with Eloise? Danielle:  I was excited when I found out but I was also a bit nervous. I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to handle raising two children. Also I was hoping it was going to be a girl so I could have one of each. My hope came true T.H. P.:  How did you come up with her name? Danielle:  Her first name came from me hearing it on a video from Facebook. I just fell in love with it. Her middle name Lena was paired with it by my mom. T.H. P.:  How old is your son and how is he adjusting to big brother status? Danielle:  My son is 3
