This was a very special and bittersweet session to post. Marcina Wall, a longtime friend and customer brought in her daughter and granddaughter for newborn photos. They live out of state and so it was a special time for Marcina to get portraits of her beautiful granddaughter. Sadly, Marcina passed away about a month after the session and so I am so thankful that we were able to get these images for Ivy and her family. Something that Ivy will cherish when she grows up. So Olivia, on the right, is graduating next year and this was going to be her senior shoot but then mom decided since Sophia hadn't had senior photos when she graduated, she'd like to have some of them together and some of just Sophia. I'm so glad they did because it made the session fun and we got some great variety! Mom said that Olivia was a little shy, but no worries, I know exactly how that is. After just a few min, I felt like she warmed right up and we got some beautiful expressions from both of them! They are both bright girls with goals of working in the medical field. Very cool! Yesterday we photographed Brandon and Sydney's Engagement session. I've known Brandon for several years and it was great to see him again and I met Sydney last year while shooting a wedding of a relative of Brandon's. I knew then that they were a great match. Their session was so much fun. Sydney is such a sweet young woman and she and Brandon had great chemistry in their session. We did these at the lake near our studio and even though it's late November, it was actually a really nice afternoon. Not too cold at all and it was just a really great afternoon with the perfect backdrop for their session. I'm thrilled with how they turned out and hope you love these photos!   Lauren had the perfect evening for her senior session!  Her smile, her outfit, everything down to her hat was just perfect!  She always has such gorgeous photos and this session was one of the best we have taken this year.  She was a little bit chilly, but her expressions were genuine and she looked beautiful!  Thank you for checking out her session!
