Interview with Jordon Martin - Seaman High - Class of 2019 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Image
I had a great time with Jordon. The one thing I remember about his shoot is how fast we were able to get so much variety with him. He smiled so good right from the get go. He was a great model and genuinely seemed into the session, which made for a good time! Most sessions we shoot at sunset or in the late afternoon, with him, we did late morning and we were able to get some amazing natural reflective light that gave us the best soft light I could have asked for. Photographically, I was really excited about the session. Jordon was really nice, really laid back and seemed very genuine. I enjoyed meeting him and feel glad to know him. I think these images really show his personality well! These are a few of our favorites. Hope you enjoy! T.H. Peterson:  What do you like most about going to Seaman high? Jordon:  The relationships I have with students & teachers.   T.H. P.:  Any big plans for the summer? Jordon:  I don’t really have any big p...

Interview with Hannah Pursley - SFT Class of 2019 - Topeka's Best Senior Portrait Photographers

I really loved photographing Hannah. She has such a beautiful smile!! She goes to school at Santa Fe Trail and so as usual it's really great to be able to photograph someone really local. We hesitated about doing her session that morning because of the rain but the skies cleared up and gave us a beautiful sunny day. I loved her location and outfits but the most striking thing about Hannah was her smile, very confident and beautiful. I am thankful for the opportunity we had to photograph her and I am thrilled with the end results! Read her interview. It's great! T.H. Peterson:  What do you like most about SFT? Hannah:  I like that SFT is a small enough school that you can get to know everyone. T.H. P.:  Any plans for summer? Hannah:   Babysitting and spending a lot of time at the pool. T.H. P.:  What are you looking forward to most your senior year? Hannah:   Trying to get a better idea of what I want to do after college. T.H. P.:  W...

Interview with Andrew Brewer - Seaman High - Class of 2019 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Andrew is a one of a kind dude. Photographing him was super fun and I especially loved that we made his sousaphone such an important aspect of the session. When I was in high school, I played the sousaphone, among several others that Andrew had. So it brought back lots of awesome memories for me. It was a beautiful afternoon, couldn't have asked for better! And something else I especially loved about Andrew is how funny he was, how good of a sense of humor he had. We shared lots of laughs and great moments!! Here's some highlights from his session and make sure to check out his slideshow. It rocks! T.H. Peterson:  Best thing about going to Seaman high school? Andrew:  The people at seaman and the pride and sprit all the students have for there school. T.H. P.:  How many different instruments do you play? Which one is  your favorite? And why Andrew:  I can play 8 different instruments but my favorite one is the sousaphone because it's loud...

Interview with Madison Smitha - Lyndon High - Class of 2019 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Before I begin, make sure you read Madison's answers. I love them. You can see how funny and interesting Madison is. Great personality. I loved shooting Madison's session. I was very concerned about the rain but it ended up being great. Yes we got dramatic skies and even a couple sprinkles but the rain did not mess up our shoot!! To be honest, the heavy over cast skies created some beautiful soft lighting. Madison had great outfits and a beautiful smile, although she certainly had a great serious look too. I loved the property we shot on. Overall, her session was a blast. I'm super excited with how her images turned out. Thanks for checking out Madison's session! Hope you enjoy! T.H. Peterson:  What do you like most about going to Lyndon high? Madison:  I love that the classes are so small that you get to know every person and every teacher so well. T.H. P.:  What are your plans after high school? Madison:  I plan to go to K-State and study Animal S...
