April and John's engagement session at Liquid Art Winery and Estate - Topeka, Manhatta, KS Wedding and Engagement Photographers

Image
April and John’s engagement session at Liquid Art Winery in Manhattan, KS was an absolute dream. The rolling hills made the perfect backdrop, especially as the sun began to set and cast a warm golden glow across the landscape. The weather couldn’t have been better—clear skies, soft light, and just the right breeze. Even more special, we took their photos at the exact spot where they’ll be saying “I do,” which made the whole session feel even more meaningful. These two were so easy to photograph. They were completely relaxed, had amazing chemistry, and were full of ideas that made the session uniquely theirs. We shared a lot of laughs and had such a great time exploring the winery together. I’m already counting down the days to their wedding—if it’s anything like this session, it’s going to be incredible! From the first photo to the last, Briar was all smiles and full of life. Her laughter was contagious, and she made every spot at the museum look like it was made just for her. Meet Hunter—a smart, competitive, and funny senior with a passion for cross country and a bright future ahead. We had the pleasure of photographing his senior session starting downtown, then moving to a rustic field near Shawnee Lake. The setting sun gave everything a warm, golden glow, and the beautiful weather made for a perfect evening. Hunter was so easy to work with—cooperative, kind, and quick to smile. His family came along for the session, and everyone was in a great mood, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Hunter first got into cross country his sophomore year and has loved the sport ever since. He’s motivated by his competitive spirit and the chance to see his girlfriend at practice. He doesn’t even listen to music while running—he likes to train the way he races: focused and in the moment. After graduation, he plans to attend K-State and become an athletic trainer. We’re excited to see where the road takes him, and we’re so glad we got to be part of celebr...
