Papaioannou Wedding - Christos and Jessica tie the knot - Wichita, KS

 I have to say Jessica and Christos are two perfect individuals for each other. They just perfectly seem right for one another. When the pastor officiating the ceremony described each of them, he explained how loving and special each person was. How Christos had a big heart and was kind and how Jessica was the same way. It was really special to witness that and I am very happy for them. I am glad that we were a part of the day. The location was Exploration Place in Wichita and I've never been there but I'd love to go back. It is an incredibly photogenic and interesting looking place. The perfect backdrop for something as special as a wedding. Many interesting colors and shapes and angles. I loved shooting there. So without any more chit chat, I'd love for you to take a few minutes out to check out their wedding. Lots of hard work went into not only creating these images but selecting the right ones for the blog. We are always happy when we can tell a story of how the day progressed with our images. Now this was a special session! It's not often we photograph multiples for newborn sessions but these little girls were just perfect and despite them being born several months ago, because they were so premature they photographed just like brand new newborns! How to Prepare for a Photo Session - Topeka's Best Family Portrait Photographers

Select outfits that will make for a timeless portrait. Choose practical clothing items, and keep the location and time of year in mind.  Select clothing items and accessories that are not too distracting or that you will have to adjust often during the session (think long necklaces or ruffled tops on a windy day).  Keep in mind the weather, wind speed, and humidity/chance of rain.  If you have littles, bring them some snacks to help give them incentives during the session.  This can help us to get kids to cooperate and make or break a session.  If it is windy, wear your hair up.  Trimming your bangs/hair slightly to keep them out of your eyes is a great idea, too! Use product like mousse, gel, pomade, and hairspray to tame your mane!    Pick shoes that will be easy to walk in at the location of the session.  For example, high heels are not recommended for sunflower shoots, but would look great in an urban/downtown setting.  Bring an extra jacket or cardigan to th

Hanna, who is a long time client, has recently begun helping us with newborns and it's been a huge blessing not only to our business but to her as well as she has had an opportunity to grow as a photographer herself and practice on getting better at wrapping and posing babies. What a sweet baby! We had a wonderful time with Kayson and his mom and dad. They are so proud of him and you can tell they are going to raise him right and give him lots of love his whole life. Cove was the sweetest little girl. She was so mellow and easy to photograph. She was just the cutest baby. Sierra: Her big brothers name is Cash, so I knew I wanted another one syllable name. When I stumbled upon Cove and said the names together, it was an instant yes.
