Gladiator Fighting Association's Organized Chaos V at Harley Davidson in Topeka, KS -


 Super excited to share our shots from Organized Chaos 5 in Topeka last Saturday July 26!!! It was an awesome night of crazy good fights!!!! 13 fights total if I'm not mistaken. I will say this, shooting any kind of action is always a challenge and fights are about the most challenging kind of action there is but I absolutely love it. Anything with this level of emotion is my cup of tea! It was an amazing experience and I certainly hope to shoot many more events like this! I won't go into detail about each of the fights but I will say this, everyone fought hard. Everyone left it in the cage. Great sportsmanship and unexpected wins and losses. Several KOs as well! Definitely makes for an entertaining night! With all that said, I will preface the slideshow below has 400 images. I will put those and more for a total of 1000 images in an album on facebook as soon as I can! Until then enjoy this slideshow and please share!!!! Now this was a special session! It's not often we photograph multiples for newborn sessions but these little girls were just perfect and despite them being born several months ago, because they were so premature they photographed just like brand new newborns! I was so excited to photograph Larae as she is the beautiful baby of a very long time client, like probably 15-20 years. So this was a very special occasion that I wanted to make sure was absolutely perfect and it was! Larae is just precious and such a chill baby! How to Prepare for a Photo Session - Topeka's Best Family Portrait Photographers

Select outfits that will make for a timeless portrait. Choose practical clothing items, and keep the location and time of year in mind.  Select clothing items and accessories that are not too distracting or that you will have to adjust often during the session (think long necklaces or ruffled tops on a windy day).  Keep in mind the weather, wind speed, and humidity/chance of rain.  If you have littles, bring them some snacks to help give them incentives during the session.  This can help us to get kids to cooperate and make or break a session.  If it is windy, wear your hair up.  Trimming your bangs/hair slightly to keep them out of your eyes is a great idea, too! Use product like mousse, gel, pomade, and hairspray to tame your mane!    Pick shoes that will be easy to walk in at the location of the session.  For example, high heels are not recommended for sunflower shoots, but would look great in an urban/downtown setting.  Bring an extra jacket or cardigan to th

What a handsome little guy! I loved photographing Declan and his session was just perfect! I especially loved capturing the details like his spikey hair. Totally adorable! What a sweet baby! We had a wonderful time with Kayson and his mom and dad. They are so proud of him and you can tell they are going to raise him right and give him lots of love his whole life.
