Amazing Session with Adam and Rebekah!!! Topeka's Best Portrait Photographers

 So happy with Rebekah and Adam's session!! We did their shoot at our Topeka location and while it was chilly and snowy outdoors, we were getting some great shots of them indoors but it was awesome because when I asked them if they'd consider going outdoors, they are game! This was great because it helped give us some good variety for their session. These guys are so cool and it was fun photographing them because they were clearly crazy about each other. They have great smiles and were real naturals in front of the camera! Here's a few of our favorites from their session!!!

Now this was a special session! It's not often we photograph multiples for newborn sessions but these little girls were just perfect and despite them being born several months ago, because they were so premature they photographed just like brand new newborns! I was so excited to photograph Larae as she is the beautiful baby of a very long time client, like probably 15-20 years. So this was a very special occasion that I wanted to make sure was absolutely perfect and it was! Larae is just precious and such a chill baby! Oh Skylar! A beautiful baby with thick black hair and an adorable presence, stole our hearts with her funny expressions and cooperative demeanor during our photography session with her. From fun poses to riding a unicorn, Skylar made every moment memorable. She is just so cute! She radiates joy and sweetness! T.H. Peterson: What did you think when you first saw Skylar? Madi: When I first saw Skylar I couldn’t believe how big she was and how much hair she had. T.H. P.: How did you come up with her name? Madi: It took us a long time to find a name we both liked. How to Prepare for a Photo Session - Topeka's Best Family Portrait Photographers

Select outfits that will make for a timeless portrait. Choose practical clothing items, and keep the location and time of year in mind.  Select clothing items and accessories that are not too distracting or that you will have to adjust often during the session (think long necklaces or ruffled tops on a windy day).  Keep in mind the weather, wind speed, and humidity/chance of rain.  If you have littles, bring them some snacks to help give them incentives during the session.  This can help us to get kids to cooperate and make or break a session.  If it is windy, wear your hair up.  Trimming your bangs/hair slightly to keep them out of your eyes is a great idea, too! Use product like mousse, gel, pomade, and hairspray to tame your mane!    Pick shoes that will be easy to walk in at the location of the session.  For example, high heels are not recommended for sunflower shoots, but would look great in an urban/downtown setting.  Bring an extra jacket or cardigan to th
