Interview with Cassidy Copeland - 2016 Shawnee Heights Grad - Topeka's Best Senior Portrait Photographers

A little behind on blogging but we are busy! Excited to share this session though. One reason is just how photogenic Cassidy was! She did amazing! She has a great smile and was down to try anything! I love her photos in the tall grass. The light was killer!! We also tried some experimental shots with smoke bombs and those were some of my favorites! Cassidy is a fun girl and I think you'll see that in these photos as well as in her answers in the interview! Also, one thing I pointed out to her, we haven't had many red heads in the past years but this year we've had lots and it's amazing how great red heads look backlit by the warm late afternoon sun! Thank you for checking out our session! Hope you enjoy!
T.H. Peterson: What is your favorite thing about school?
Cassidy: My favorite thing about school is having late start on Mondays or being able to have shortened schedule. I love being able to sleep in. I also really like participating in spirit week!
T.H. P.: Favorite female singer?
Cassidy: My favorite female singer would have to be Kyla Mitchell. Everyone go check out her mixtape.
T.H. P.: What would people be surprised to learn about you?
Cassidy: I have grown up and lived in Kansas my whole life but I have never seen the Wizard of Oz! Also I have a tattoo! Most people don't know about it or think it is fake because I am not 18 yet.
T.H. P.: What is your favorite drama (movie)?
Cassidy: My favorite drama is The Best of Me! It's such a cute movie!
T.H. P.: What sort of outdoor activities do you enjoy?
Cassidy: I like to go swimming, zip lining, parasailing, and tubing! I also like to ride quads and go camping. I love being outdoors and I'm always trying to find something new and exciting to do!
T.H. P.: What would be your dream job?
Cassidy: My dream job would actually be a Photographer! I think it would be so cool to photograph seniors and weddings! Or I would also like to have a job that lets me travel the world.
T.H. P.: Describe your fashion sense with a song title.
Cassidy: Sweatpants by Childish Gambino hahaha
T.H. P.: Biggest pet peeve?
Cassidy: Oh man. My all time biggest pet peeve is when people ride their bikes in the street when there is literally a sidewalk 2 feet away from them. The city built sidewalks for a reason and I shouldn't have to be worrying about whether or not I'm going to hit a biker with my car.
T.H. P.: Favorite video game / computer game?
Cassidy: I don't really play video games anymore but when I was younger my sister and I always played Kirby Airride or Mario Baseball!
T.H. P.: What is something you have kept and you still cherish from your early childhood?

Cassidy: Every summer my cousins and I would spend the days with my Grandma and one thing we did was make scrapbooks, using all the pictures my grandma had of us growing up. I still have my scrapbook I made and every once in a while I go back and look at the pictures.
