Interview with Austin Neff - Silver Lake Class of 2018 - Topeka's Best Senior Portrait Photographers - Truck Henge Farm
Austin's shoot was laid back, relaxed and fun. We took them downtown Topeka in one of our favorite rundown spots and then we headed to Truckhenge for some photos there. There was a music festival going on and that kept us somewhat entertained but one of the most amazing things about it was the sun was setting and giving us the most gorgeous light and sky! Austin is kind of a quiet guy, but he was definitely friendly and I could tell he had a good time. His smile was genuine and relaxed and made him approachable. I admired his desire to use the flag during his session and now reading that he is joining the Marines, I'm definitely impressed with him. I'm super happy with how his session turned out. These are a few of my favorites!! Thanks for checking it out. Make sure to check out his interview and video below.

T.H. Peterson: Best thing about going to Silver Lake High?
Austin: It's a small school so everyone knows everyone.
T.H. P.: What are your plans after high school?
Austin: I'm joining the Marines for infantry then after going into the welding field.
T.H. P.: Describe yourself in one word?
Austin: Hardworking.
T.H. P.: What is an epiphany or realization you've had recently?
Austin: That everyone was right about how fast 4 years in High School goes by.
T.H. P.: Your patriotic photos were pretty sweet. I think it's pretty awesome to have someone your age feeling patriotic. To me it isn't the most common thing. What do you think makes you feel that way?
Austin: I Admire and respect all the women and men who have sacrificed and given their lives for the freedom that we have today. It just means a lot to me and hope to do my part and serve our country some day.
T.H. P.: What was your favorite part of your session with us?
Austin: I enjoyed all of my session. You guys made me feel comfortable but the rap concert that was going at Lessman Farm's Truckhenge and the "bacon fat " lyrics was hilarious!
T.H. P.: If you could visit any other country in the world, where would you go and why?
Austin: It would be cool to go to Puerto Rico. Their murals and culture would be awesome to see.
T.H. P.:What is your favorite outdoor activity?
Austin: I really enjoyed camping with my family when we used to go all the time. I also enjoy hanging out by a campfire with my buds!
T.H. P.: What makes you feel confident?
Austin: Knowing I try to be the best I can be in everything I do.
T.H. P.: What is a movie you could watch over and over and never get tired of?
Austin: I'd have to say , an old movie, but a great one.... Friday.
