Interview with Alexis Massey - Santa Fe Trail - Class of 2018 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits
I absolutely loved our shoot with Alexis. She was a great subject and despite the bone chilling wind, she kept smiling and in my opinion she doesn't look cold in these portraits! It was so cold but I had a hoodie on. Alexis kept smiling and laughing, a real trooper! I loved her outfit choices and locations. In my opinion, she looked amazing! I am so happy with the results! Here are a few highlights from her shoot along with an interview! Great answers! Hope you enjoy!

T.H. Peterson: What do you like most about SFT?
Alexis: What I like most about SFT is how small it is. It’s cool to think back on memories from Junior High, all the way back to 4 grade and some even before that and have one with almost everyone.
T.H. P.: What's your favorite class so far this year?
Alexis: My favorite class this year would have to be Anatomy. I like how every part of the body works together perfectly.
T.H. P.: Least favorite and why?
Alexis: Believe it or not, my least favorite class this year would have to be Speech... Online Speech. I do not like having to talk in front of people, even if only one guy sitting behind a computer screen is going to see it.
T.H. P.: What advice would you give to freshmen?
Alexis: My biggest piece of advice I’d give to freshman would be to enjoy all the little fun things you do in high school, even if you find them kind of annoying. Before you know it, you’ll be a Senior trying to figure out how it’s already your last time standing in the stands for a football game or last basketball game or even last teacher skit.
T.H. P.: What is something you are super proud of?
Alexis: Something I’m pretty proud of is being involved in sports while a member of the National Honor Society club and managing to balance full time school and full time college classes. It’s a lot, but it keeps me busy.
T.H. P.: How would you describe yourself?
Alexis: I would describe myself pretty out going and sassy.
T.H. P.: What is something about your session, you really liked?
Alexis: Something about my session that I really liked would have to be even though it was really windy and cold, you guys were very patient with my blanket breaks and trying to fix my hair. I also liked how natural it all felt.
T.H. P.: Besides graduating what is a short term goal you have for yourself?
Alexis: A short term goal I have for this year would have to be setting a new basketball record at my school for number of rebounds in a game. Last year I was only 4 away from beating it so it’d be cool to beat it my Senior year.
T.H. P.: What song on the radio do you love and what song annoys you?
Alexis: A song on the radio that I love would have to be “Sorry Not Sorry” by Demi Lovato. It’s just one of those songs that is hard not to Jam to. I find the song “Feel It Still” by Portugal the Man. It gets overplayed especially in the mornings so I hear it every day on the way to school.
T.H. P.: If you could leave on vacation right now for a week where would you go?
Alexis: I’d love to visit the Bahamas, it would definitely be my number 1 vacation spot.
