Interview with Emma-Lee Taylor - Osage City High - Class of 2018

Looking at these photos, it is absolutely certain FALL IS HERE!!! Our shoot with Emma-Lee was a lot of fun! She was a great model and was eager to have an awesome session. One of my favorite parts of her session was sitting at the edge of the lake at Shawnee Lake and the ducks started swimming to us. They got closer and closer and eventually walked right up to Emma-Lee. I called her the duck whisperer. They acted like they were her pets even walking onto her lap. We were all laughing and amazed. I've never seen anything like it. Emma-Lee is such a cool girl. Lots of personality and easy to talk to, down to earth and you can tell she is intelligent. Her mom was there and she was a lot of fun to hang out with as well. I am excited to share these images and I also really enjoyed her interview. Make sure to check that out!! Enjoy!
T.H. Peterson: What’s your favorite thing about being a student at Osage City High?
Emma-Lee: The fact that Osage City High is such a small school is probably my favorite thing about it. Everybody knows each other & for the most part everyone gets along, it’s really nice.
T.H. P.: You wanted a fall session, is that your favorite season?
Emma-Lee: Fall is one of my favorite seasons, i love them all. However, fall may be tied with spring, I love rain!
T.H. P.: What is something that is fun to do in Osage?
Emma-Lee: This might be the hardest question I’ve been asked! There’s not a whole lot to do here. I guess my answer would have to be driving around with friends or hanging out at Sonic.
T.H. P.: What is your dream job?
Emma-Lee: My dream job is to be an Ultrasound Tech. I would love to do fetal ultrasounds. I think it’d be really great to be the person that tells a couple that really wants a girl that that’s what they’re having, it’d be really great to just make somebody’s day like that everyday!
T.H. P.: Your mom said you and her are a lot alike. In what ways do you think that is true?
Emma-Lee: It’s actually so funny. not only do we look alike but we find ourselves saying the exact same thing at the exact same time.  that’s probably happens at least 5 times a week!
T.H. P.: What is something you liked about your session with us?
Emma-Lee: I liked that I got to have lots of different locations & as always you guys are very funny!
T.H. P.: What motivates you?
Emma-Lee: Well my friends mom is an x-ray tech & like I said earlier I want to be an ultrasound tech which is sort of similar. The school is really hard to get into, they only except like 30-40 students a year out of say 200 that apply. She’s always telling me i can do it & shes the one that’s motivated me to try really hard in school & get good grades. she’s a great role model. so I’d have to say she motivates me a lot as well as myself. I’m always looking forward to how my future will be.
T.H. P.: What’s a time in your life you felt really confident?
Emma-Lee: Last spring I cut off a ton of my hair, probably almost a foot! I also got it colored for the first time professionally. I loved the way it looked & I received so many wonderful comments. I got told it made me look a lot older, which is really nice to hear when you usually look like a 12 year old!
T.H. P.: What kind of student are you?
Emma-Lee: I’m one of the biggest procrastinators i know. I’m always waiting last minute to study or do my homework, but I still make good grades so it’s okay!
T.H. P.: What food do you never get tired of?
Emma-Lee: Anybody could tell you I could LIVE off chicken strips & mac n chz!
