Interview with Cameron Henderson - Shawnee Heights - Class of 2019 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Cameron's session was truly everything I hoped for her. She is an amazing young lady and it was an honor to photograph her. I've known Cameron for a few years and she is the real deal. Lots of girls think they're country girls, SHE IS. She rides horses, works with her dad and his tree service, and on top of all that she is humble and funny and kind. I am happy to know her and her amazing family. I not only loved her session but make sure you read her interview answers. They are so good and you get a glimpse of who this young lady is. Enjoy.
T.H. Peterson: What do you like most about going to school at Shawnee Heights?
Cameron: I like the school spirit. Everyone gets super hype and it makes it fun.
T.H. P.: Tell me about the last location we went to for your session. What was special about it to you?
Cameron: The last location was my great grandma’s house, it was special to me because she is who I want to be when I get older, and I have a lot of cool memories out there.
T.H. P.: Favorite thing about your session with us?
Cameron: That you guys took the pics, duh! You make it so much fun and I don’t think I had to fake a smile the whole time!
T.H. P.: What are your plans after high school?
Cameron: I don’t know yet, just livin life day by day. Continuing to ride horses definitely, and eventually I want to start up with cattle.
T.H. P.: How long have your rode horses?
Cameron: I’ve rode horses for 7 or 8 years but started competing 4 years ago.
T.H. P.: What is the best advice your mom has ever given you?
Cameron: Not to let people walk all over me, and to be myself no matter if people like me or hate me.
T.H. P.: What is your best quality? What would you like to improve about yourself?
Cameron: I think my best quality is that I’m responsible and hard working, if I could improve something it would be to not be so sensitive!
T.H. P.: Favorite song on the radio right now?
Cameron: I don’t listen to the radio but I like “I was Jack (You Were Diane)” by Jake Owen.
T.H. P.: What do you consider a fun date?
Cameron: Fishin, riding UTV’s.
T.H. P.: Favorite junk food
Cameron: Ice Cream.
