Interview with Caeden Heydenreich - Seaman High Class of 2021 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Caeden is one of the best senior sessions we have photographed in a while. We have been photographing him and his family for years and have watched him grow up, so of course we were super stoked to do his senior pics!  His mom came along with him to help out and we all had the best time. His temperament is so laidback and relaxed, and he has a great smile!!  He's just like the rest of his family, super photogenic! We love all of his pictures, and that video tho!! Check it out!
T.H. Peterson: Describe one of your favorite memories from high school.

Caeden:  My favorite memory of high school was at the varsity girls basketball game when I made friends with the other team and started cheering for them it was cool because the other team was feeling good when I started cheering.

T.H. P: What is your favorite class from high school and why?
Caeden: Teams Sports sophomore year because I had a lot of friends in there and we got to play sports all the time.
T.H. P: If money was no object, what kind of vehicle would you drive and why?
Caeden:  2020 Porsche Taycan, the car is all electric, brand new, and very very fast making it an amazing car!
T.H. P: What would people be surprised to learn about you?
Caeden: That when I was a kid I was trying to cut a Barbie dolls head off with a knife and cut my finger instead.
T.H. P: What is your favorite thing about going to High School?
Caeden: Meeting new people
T.H. P: Favorite part of your session with us?
Caeden:  The squeaky toy that would always make me laugh
T.H. P: What is your favorite meal that mom cooks?
Caeden:  Enchiladas
T.H. P: What do you like to do for fun?
Caeden:  My favorite thing to do is to go downtown and skateboard.
T.H. P: Name one thing you are looking forward to your Senior year.
Caeden: My last football season
T.H. P: How would your friends describe you in three words?
Caeden: Funny, outgoing, chill

Grace and Andrew’s wedding at the Lincoln Event Center in Ottawa, Kansas, was absolutely beautiful! Reese Jentry's newborn session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Baby Reese Jentry came to the studio for her session, and she was absolutely perfect! Mom and Dad brought along Dad’s Army uniform, and we were able to include it in some of her photos, which made the session so special and meaningful. It was such a beautiful way to honor his service and create a memory they’ll cherish forever. Reese was surrounded by so much love from Mom, Dad, and her two big brothers. They were all so smitten with her, and it was heartwarming to see how much she is already adored. We captured some amazing images of the whole family together, as well as some of Reese all by herself. I just love how her photos turned out — so sweet and full of love! T.H. Interview with Higgins Hawks - Washburn Rural Class of 2026 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

I had such a great time photographing Higgins, a senior from Washburn Rural High School. He’s such a cool guy with tons of confidence and personality, which really came through in his photos. We started his session in front of the Federal Home Loan Bank — a spot I’d never shot at before — and I was blown away by the beautiful architecture and landscaping. It was the perfect backdrop for his dressy outfit and set the tone for some really sharp, classy images. After that, we headed to Cypress Ridge Golf Course to showcase Higgins’ passion for golf. The weather couldn’t have been better, and we captured some truly stunning shots of him out on the course. We wrapped up the evening at Kaw River Park just as the sun was setting over the water, giving us the most perfect, glowing images to end the session. Interview with MaKayla Connor - Silver Lake Class of 2026 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of photographing MaKayla from Silver Lake during an early morning sunrise session at her school. We started on the softball field, and the sky put on the most colorful display — pinks, oranges, and purples that made the perfect backdrop for her softball photos. You could clearly see how much she loves the sport in every shot, and the sunrise made the whole scene feel really special. After we finished on the field, we headed inside the school to capture some awesome wrestling photos. Even though MaKayla recently injured her thumb, she didn’t let that slow her down one bit. Interview with Zachary Robinson - Washburn Rural Class of 2026 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Zach’s senior session was absolutely killer! We started downtown and then finished at Kaw River Park just as the sun was setting, and the lighting could not have been more perfect. Zach brought his guitar along, and it was easy to see how passionate he is about playing. He’s completely self-taught and doesn’t even read sheet music — just plays by ear and feeling. That made his session feel so personal and unique, and it really showed off his talent and personality. Zach is such a fast learner and such a nice guy. He made the whole session fun and easy, and his great attitude really shined through in every photo. Meet sweet baby Kinsley! She came to our studio for her newborn session, and what a beautiful baby she is. Kinsley had the most expressive little face—we saw so many emotions and adorable looks from her during the session. She even gave us the tiniest little smile, and it melted our hearts. Her mom, Riley, couldn't stop talking about how special she is, and we could definitely see why. Kinsley is not only beautiful, but also full of personality already! Kinsley was such a dream to photograph. She was calm, cooperative, and happy to pose for us. I had such a great time photographing Preston downtown on the 4th of July! He wanted to show off his patriotism, and he really brought the spirit with red, white, and blue clothes, an American flag, and some colorful smoke bombs. Even though it was the middle of the day and pretty warm, he had such a good attitude the whole time. His great smile and fun personality made the session really enjoyable. Preston is an athlete too, but we decided to save that part of his story for another session. This time was all about celebrating the holiday and capturing his love for his country. Meet sweet little Lyncoln! This adorable baby girl has so much personality already, and it was such a joy to photograph her. Mom and Dad were absolutely glowing with happiness as they cuddled her close. Dad especially couldn’t stop gushing over how perfect she is — it was so special to see how much love they have for her.   Isaac’s senior session was such a fun one! We started at the baseball field at Washburn Rural, where his love for the game really stood out. He lit up talking about it, and you could tell it’s a big part of who he is. Isaac was so personable and easy to talk to—he had a great smile and was just a genuinely nice guy. The conversation flowed naturally, and I felt totally at ease around him. After the field, we headed to Clarion Woods for some nature shots, and then finished the evening at B&B Theatres just as the sun went down. I recently had the joy of photographing sweet little Dannie for her newborn session. She is absolutely precious and so tiny! It feels like just yesterday I was capturing her big sister's newborn photos, and it's always such a treat to see this wonderful family again. They are completely in love with their newest addition, and you can feel the joy and love they have for her in every moment. Some of my favorite images from the session were the ones with her mom, dad, and big sisters. You can see the special bond they all share, and those photos really show how much love surrounds Dannie.
