Interview with Conner Botts - Washburn Rural Class of 2023 - Echo Cliff - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Conner was so much fun to hang out with and photograph. It was just a really great experience. He had a good energy and was genuinely interested in the session. I loved it! We started off at Echo Cliff, which has always been one of my favorite places to shoot and then we headed to Topeka to get some awesome sunset shots downtown. That way we got a really balanced session. Echo Cliff was a perfect spot for his cowboy gear and once we got to downtown, the sun setting was just incredible. It made for some of the most unique cityscape images we've ever shot! A session, I know he had a great time at and with images of himself that he can be proud of. Mom was there too and she really made the session a lot of fun. The two of them have a great connection! Thanks for checking out his session!!! Super happy with his shoot!

T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school?

Conner: After high school the ultimate goal is to go to college

and study Criminal Justice and Wildlife Biology and hopefully

play college baseball.

T.H. P.: What classes are you enjoying most your senior year?

Conner: I am enjoying my Criminal Justice class the most, we study interesting cases in depth, and dive into how the Criminal Justice system works.

T.H. P.: What's your dream job?

Conner: My dream job would be to be a Game Warden.

T.H. P.: Describe your personality in one word.

Conner: Ornery

T.H. P.: What did you like most about your shoot with us?

Conner: I liked how laid back Tommy was and all of the jokes he threw around.

T.H. P.: Favorite YouTube channel?

Conner:  The Baseball Bat Bros - I like watching them hit tanks!

T.H. P.: Favorite junk food.

Conner: My favorite junk food is probably a snickers or pumpkin pie.

T.H. P.: Describe your relationship with your mom. What are some things she's taught you that you'll keep with you for the rest of your life?

Conner: We are close, but she asks way too many questions. She taught me to always be respectful to other people, it will take you far in life. Everyone but her thinks I am.

T.H. P.: Have you injured yourself playing baseball or sports in general?

Conner: A lot, but last year I tore my shoulder labrum wrestling and had surgery in February.
