Interview with Taylor Swygert - Silver Lake Class of 2026 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits
T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school?
Taylor: I plan to go to college, play softball, and major in Graphics.
T.H. P.: Classes you are looking forward to your senior year?
Taylor: I’m most looking forward for Mythology and College Composition.
T.H. P.: What advice would you give your younger self?
Taylor: My biggest advice I’d give myself is that when you find yourself in a situation that goes against your best judgment then you shouldn’t be in the situation at all.
T.H. P.: Something you liked about your session with us?
Taylor: I loved how we immediately made a connection, and how comfortable it was.
T.H. P.: What makes you feel confident?
Taylor: The things that make me most confident are when the people I look up to most support me and push me to be who I am.
T.H. P.: How have you grown in the past four years?
Taylor: In the past four years I’ve grown into a much more mentally mature person who knows my limits and how far I should push myself to succeed.
T.H. P.: What was the last movie you saw and what did you think about it?
Taylor: The last movie I saw was the live action Lilo and Stitch, I thought it was a cute adaptation of the animated version.
T.H. P.: What does your usual Saturday night look like?
Taylor: If I’m not playing softball, I hangout with friends or go out driving.
T.H. P.: What is your favorite sport to play? What is your favorite sport to watch?
Taylor: My favorite sport to play is definitely softball, I’ve been playing for 12 years and have been a high school state finalist twice. My favorite sport to watch is football, I love the competitiveness of the game and how fast the pace of it all is.
T.H. P.: What is the most and least girly thing about you?
Taylor: The most girly thing about me is probably my hair routine, I have so many products and specific ways to style and take care of my hair. The least girly thing about me is either how bad my feet smell after softball games or my belching.
