Interview with Brogan Buckhalter- Seaman High School - Class of 2020 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits -

Image
Brogan had a really great session in the downtown Topeka area, using the local parking garages and alleys to take some dynamite senior pictures!  He really wanted some shots with the Capitol in the background, and we delivered! He got some incredible images and then some! We cruised down Kansas Ave and got some great shots of Brogan in the heart of the downtown area.  We really enjoyed his session, and know you will too!   T.H. Peterson:  How do you feel about being a senior?  What kind of emotions do you have about your senior year? Brogan:     Being a senior feels crazy knowing you're so close to being your own adult and that much closer to starting your new journey.   T.H. P.:    Who has influenced you this far in your life and how have they impacted you? Brogan: My mom, she has always pushed me to do my best at anything I do and has always impacted my life being a role model.   T.H. P.:  Where do you s...

Interview with Sara Clark- Santa Fe Trail High School - Class of 2020 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits -

Image
Sara has been coming to me for a while for photos, so when she asked me to come shoot her senior pictures at a local equine rescue, I was really looking forward to it!  We arrived at the B & C Equine Rescue, Inc. just outside of Carbondale and Sara was already beaming ! Her face did NOT stop smiling the entire time we were there. She really enjoyed the horses and the dogs surrounding her, and when she got to the field, there were SOOO many horses that came to see her!  Her shots were breathtaking! The sky was dark and the colors were bold, but we knew rain was coming. We took off for a local bridge, but the storm beat us there. She was a trooper and she braved the rain for some really cool bridge shots! She even got photobombed by dad! Thank you for checking out her session!   T.H. Peterson:   What are your plans after high school? Sara:  Hopefully go to k-State to be a Vet or Vet Tech.   T.H. P.:   What is your favorite...

Rylan had a really great session in the Scranton area!  We used the flag prop outside of our studio to really capture Rylan’s All-American personality!  Then he got to pose in front of his dad’s MUSTANG! Nothing is more American than muscle cars! After that, we headed out to Osage State Lake for some really great country shots!  From the dock to the woods, there were so many great images from his session for us to share with you! We loved his session and thank you for checking it out! T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school? Rylan:  I plan on doing 1 of 2 things. Either going to the Army and working as a diesel technician or going to work at BNSF or Foley Tractor as a diesel tech there. T.H. P.:  What is your favorite subject in school? Rylan:  Favorite subject is probably history T.H. P.:  What is one of the most memorable times you have had in high school? Rylan:  The most memorable times I've had in hi...

Interview with Dex Swinehart - Lyndon High Class of 2018 - Topeka's Best Senior Portrait Photographers

Image
Our session with Dex was insane. The light, the sun was amazing. It made for a beautiful, dramatic sky that we could only hope for. It was perfect. Dex is a cool dude. He was fun to photograph. One thing I especially liked was the fact that Dex was the third brother we've photographed over the years for their senior portraits. We've photographed Dawson and Dillon in the past and so it was cool to be able to create something unique and different for him. In the past, we photographed at Pamona Lake, Shawnee Lake and for Dex we went to Melvern Lake. When I put that simple fact together, that struck me as something really cool. Anyway, I'm super thrilled with how great his shoot came out. Hope you enjoy! T.H. Peterson:  What do you like most about Lyndon high? Dex:  I like Lyndon High because it's a small school and you can get to know everybody.   T.H. P.:  What are your plans after high school? Dex:  My plans after high school are to attend college ...
