Interview with Lexi Heydenreich - 2017 Seaman High Grad - Topeka's Best Senior Portrait Photographers

SUCH. AN. AMAZING. SESSION!!! Our shoot with Lexi is hard to put into words. Look at that smile! She is beautiful and her shoot was incredible. I loved her outfits! The afternoon was beautiful, light was amazing, the perfect backdrop for her shoot. I loved how many different looks we were able to get during her session. We started off downtown Topeka and ended at the Kansas Museum. Very excited not only to share some of the highlights from her shoot but the interview as well. She's bright and her answers are great! Thanks for checking out Lexi's blog post! Enjoy!!
T.H. Peterson: What’s your favorite memory at Seaman?
Lexi: Senior night at football of my junior year. We had been doing sidelines for the first quarter when it was just sprinkling. but by the time it was half time it was raining cats and dogs! So we went out there to dance in hopes that many people would still be there watching and it turned out that there were only about 50 people in our stands. It was definitely worth the performance because we were just having a good time dancing in the rain instead of waiting for the storm to pass.
T.H. P.: What’s your favorite late night snack?
Lexi: Oreos and Milk all the way!
T.H. P.: Is there a tv show you can’t live without?
Lexi: Grey's Anatomy!! It has definitely taught me many things that can help me save someone's life if they are dying or injured.
T.H. P.: If you’re eating Lucky Charms, do you save the marshmallows for the end?
Lexi: Well I'm kind of a boring person who just eats it's all at once.
T.H. P.: What is your dream job?
Lexi: To be an amazing Doctor who makes a lot of money!
T.H. P.: What song from your childhood brings back the best memories?
Lexi: Amazed by Lone Star. That was my parents song for their first dance so it reminds me of weddings which are very fun and full of many happy memories.
T.H. P.: What sport are you obsessed with?
Lexi: Softball and Baseball all the way!!!

T.H. P.: Favorite Royals player
Lexi: Alex Gordon will for ever be my favorite boy in blue but Hosmer, Moose, Salvy, Cain and Escobar are pretty cool too.
T.H. P.: What was your favorite thing about your session?
Lexi: Being able to be myself around all three of you and not feeling timid at all. You three also had some very clever jokes at times.
T.H. P.: How long have you been a dancer, and what’s your favorite thing about it?
Lexi: Since I was 2 1/2. I really enjoy being able to express the way I am feeling through the movement of my body.
T.H. P.: Have you ever been injured dancing and what's the best and hardest part of dancing
Lexi: Yes I have been injured. I had sprained my collateral tendon doing a lunge in a dance at one of my performances. The best part is being able to perform and entertain the audience. The hardest being able to push myself out of my comfort zone.
T.H. P.: What’s the best advice you’ve received from your mom?
Lexi: "Just remember there will always be somebody better than you but use them as a role model and strive to be your best"
