Interview with Alexis Jensen - Free State High Grad - Class of 2018 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Alexis was fun to shoot. My first impression of her was she was quiet. Not necessarily shy but just kind of quiet. Not a problem, lots of people are kind of like that when we first meet. After all, it's kind of awkward having a camera pointed at you but within minutes she was relaxed and doing amazing. I REALLY enjoyed her session. It's interesting how just after a little bit you can kind of tell a lot about someone. Alexis seems like a quietly confident, smart, decisive, opinionated person who values people. Then after reading her interview, I feel even more like this must be true. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to photograph her senior portraits. It was fun and I love the end results! Make sure to read her interview as well. I love her answers!
T.H. Peterson: What is your favorite thing about Free State high?
Alexis: My favorite thing about Free State is the wide variety of programs and clubs you can be apart of.
T.H. P.: What are your plans after high school?
Alexis: I plan to go to college at University of Central Florida and major in Biology, emphasizing on Conservation Biology or Zoology.
T.H. P.: What is something about your session you enjoyed?
Alexis: Something about the session I enjoyed is the Jayhawk Theatre you took me to. I fell in love with the architecture and the history of it.
T.H. P.: How would your friends describe you?
Alexis: My friends describe me as a ten year old boy and a mother. I still wonder how that fits together....
T.H. P.: Favorite place to eat in Lawrence?
Alexis: My favorite place to eat in Lawrence would have to be the Basil Leaf Cafe on 9th St. they serve the most amazing lasagna ever!
T.H. P.: Biggest pet peeve
Alexis: My biggest pet peeve is when someone says one thing, but then does the other.
T.H. P.: What's the scariest thing you've ever done?
Alexis: The scariest thing I have ever done is take a zip line over a river. Mind you that I have a fear of heights.
T.H. P.: Favorite part of your day?
Alexis: My favorite part of the day is when I get to see my pups.
T.H. P.: What would you consider a fun date?
Alexis: A fun date would be doing something we both like to do and being able to talk to each other (NO MOVIES).
T.H. P.: Motorcycle, Sports car, truck or horse?
Alexis: FORD TRUCKS ALL THE WAY!
