Easton's Two-Year Photos - Studio Milestone Session - Topeka's Best Children Photographers


We have been photographing Easton since he was a newborn and we are so shocked how fast the time has flown by.  He came in with his mom and dad for his 2nd birthday photos!  WOW!  He is such a funny kid with so much personality and he definitely runs the show at home!  In between him lining mom and dad out, he posed for us and his smile just lit up the whole studio!  And he loves this squeak toy pig we have at the studio, so that definitely made him laugh.  Happy 2nd Birthday, Easton!  We hope you have a wonderful day!

Now this was a special session! It's not often we photograph multiples for newborn sessions but these little girls were just perfect and despite them being born several months ago, because they were so premature they photographed just like brand new newborns! I was so excited to photograph Larae as she is the beautiful baby of a very long time client, like probably 15-20 years. How to Prepare for a Photo Session - Topeka's Best Family Portrait Photographers

Select outfits that will make for a timeless portrait. Choose practical clothing items, and keep the location and time of year in mind.  Select clothing items and accessories that are not too distracting or that you will have to adjust often during the session (think long necklaces or ruffled tops on a windy day).  Keep in mind the weather, wind speed, and humidity/chance of rain.  If you have littles, bring them some snacks to help give them incentives during the session.  This can help us to get kids to cooperate and make or break a session.  If it is windy, wear your hair up.  Trimming your bangs/hair slightly to keep them out of your eyes is a great idea, too! Use product like mousse, gel, pomade, and hairspray to tame your mane!    Pick shoes that will be easy to walk in at the location of the session.  For example, high heels are not recommended for sunflower shoots, but would look great in an urban/downtown setting.  Bring an extra jacket or cardigan to th

Oh Skylar! A beautiful baby with thick black hair and an adorable presence, stole our hearts with her funny expressions and cooperative demeanor during our photography session with her.
