Radley's newborn session - Interview with mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
Sweet baby Radley was just three days old for his newborn session, and he was the calmest, chill little guy you could imagine. Such a tiny little thing, with the softest features and the sweetest expressions, he gave us a session full of quiet moments, tiny smirks, and little smiles that made everyone melt. He was so relaxed the entire time, which made it easy to capture those peaceful, cozy newborn images that parents love looking back on. Mom and Dad are already completely in love with him, and you can feel it in every photo. We also created some beautiful family portraits that feel warm, cuddly, and full of connection — the kind of images that truly show a family in this special new season of life. It’s such a gift to watch a family grow, and I’m so thankful we were able to create these memories for them. I hope these images bring them lifelong joy and always remind them just how tiny and precious Radley was in these first few days. 💛 T.H. Peterson: What did you think when you f...

Sienna's newborn session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
We had so much fun taking pictures of baby Sienna recently! Her mom and dad are so in love with her, and you can really feel it when you’re around them.  Sienna was a little fussy at first, and it took a few minutes to get her settled—but once she was, she showed us all kinds of cute expressions. She has so much personality in her little face, and it was so fun to capture that. We got some really beautiful shots with different poses, props, and backdrops. I’m so happy with how the photos turned out—they really show the love this family has for each other. Sienna is such a sweet baby, and I know her family will treasure these pictures forever. T.H. P.: What does big bro think of his sister? Kailee: Our 19 month old wasn’t super excited to share his mommy with his new sister mainly at bedtime. Otherwise he loves saying “sissy” and “baby”. He’s such a big helper handing things to mommy when she needs something. T.H. P.:   How did you come up with her name? Kailee:   ...

Interview with Laci Cole - Seaman High Class of 2026 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Image
Laci was such a joy to photograph. From the moment she walked into the studio, she was friendly, relaxed, and incredibly easy to work with. She has a great smile and is very photogenic, which always makes a session flow effortlessly. Nothing ever felt awkward, even in between shots, and that made the whole experience feel natural and fun. Her outfits were perfect too—they fit the mood of the photos so well and really pulled everything together. It was also one of those cold, snowy days, so we started inside the studio where it was warm, but we couldn’t resist stepping outside for a few shots. Even with the freezing temps, we were able to capture some really cool images with the snow, and they turned out amazing. It was so nice meeting Laci and her mom—they were both wonderful. Laci is a beautiful young lady, inside and out, and you can tell right away that she’s very smart just from spending a little time around her. We’re so glad we got to be part of her senior year. T.H. Kaleo's newborn session - Interview with mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
Kaleo came into the studio for his newborn session, and from the moment he arrived, he was so calm and sweet. He was such a beautiful baby, completely content, and made the cutest little faces throughout the session. We captured some really special images of Kaleo all by himself, soaking in those tiny details that change so fast in these early days. It was one of those sessions that just felt easy and peaceful from start to finish. Mom and dad are absolutely crazy about him, and you can feel that love in every photo. We also took some images of Kaleo with both of them, and those are always some of my favorites—simple, genuine moments that mean so much years down the road. Being able to photograph a family during such a special time in their life is something I never take for granted, and I’m so thankful I got to be a part of Kaleo’s newborn story. T.H. Peterson: What did you think when you first saw Kaleo? Mary: Wow! We did it finally! Felt like we would never get that moment but ther...
