Miss Delainey Joanna's newborn session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
Delainey was the most perfect little baby! Tiny, precious, and so peaceful, she slept right through almost her entire session. It was a practice session for one of our newer baby assistants, and Delainey made it so easy to wrap and pose her perfectly. She really was a dream to work with! Mom and dad were over the moon with how everything turned out. Dad even had a super fun idea with a deer head, and we were able to bring his vision to life just right. Seeing their excitement and photographing sweet Delainey made this session extra special for all of us! T.H. Peterson: What did you think when you first saw Delainey? Tabitha: I thought she was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, and couldn’t believe what we had created. T.H. P.:   How did you come up with her name? Tabitha:   We googled names and started putting names together. T.H. P.:   Who does she look like? Tabitha:   We think she looks like both of us but probably more like her daddy! Until she mea...

Emmy Sue's Newborn Session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
Emmy Sue was an absolute dream to photograph. She is beautiful, with perfect skin, and gave us the sweetest little smiles and smirks throughout her session. From the moment she arrived, her calm presence and tiny expressions completely stole our hearts. She was a little fussy at first — just like most babies — but once she was swaddled, she settled right in and posed so wonderfully. We captured some truly beautiful images with mom and dad, and every moment felt natural and effortless. Photographing Emmy Sue was such a joy, and this session is one we won’t forget. T.H. P.: What did you think when you first saw her? Kynzy: I thought she was perfect and couldn’t believe she was finally here! T.H. P.:   How did you come up with her name? Kynzy:   I’ve always loved the name Emmy, and she got her middle name from her grandma. T.H. P.:   Who does she look like? Kynzy:   I think she looks like her dad, and her dad thinks she looks like me — so a perfect mix! T.H. P.: ...

Benjamin's newborn session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
Baby Benjamin’s newborn session was such a sweet and special experience. He is a tiny, beautiful little guy, and from the moment we started, you could feel how excited Mom and Dad were to be there. We took our time and worked carefully to create soft, beautiful images of him, and he gave us the most adorable little expressions. Every photo felt gentle, calm, and full of love, making the entire session a joy to photograph. Some of my favorite images from Benjamin’s session are the family portraits. There is something so special about seeing him in his parents’ arms, looking so safe and precious. The connection between them is so natural and strong, and it shows in every image. These are the kinds of photos that tell a story, not just of a newborn session, but of a family beginning a brand new chapter together. T.H. P.: What did you think when you first saw Benjamin? Nicole: I was previously told I couldn’t have children and then had an emergency C-section with him, so it’s been quit...

Radley's newborn session - Interview with mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
Sweet baby Radley was just three days old for his newborn session, and he was the calmest, chill little guy you could imagine. Such a tiny little thing, with the softest features and the sweetest expressions, he gave us a session full of quiet moments, tiny smirks, and little smiles that made everyone melt. He was so relaxed the entire time, which made it easy to capture those peaceful, cozy newborn images that parents love looking back on. Mom and Dad are already completely in love with him, and you can feel it in every photo. We also created some beautiful family portraits that feel warm, cuddly, and full of connection — the kind of images that truly show a family in this special new season of life. It’s such a gift to watch a family grow, and I’m so thankful we were able to create these memories for them. I hope these images bring them lifelong joy and always remind them just how tiny and precious Radley was in these first few days. 💛 T.H. Peterson: What did you think when you f...

Sienna's newborn session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

We had so much fun taking pictures of baby Sienna recently! Her mom and dad are so in love with her, and you can really feel it when you’re around them.  Sienna was a little fussy at first, and it took a few minutes to get her settled—but once she was, she showed us all kinds of cute expressions. She has so much personality in her little face, and it was so fun to capture that. We got some really beautiful shots with different poses, props, and backdrops. I’m so happy with how the photos turned out—they really show the love this family has for each other. Sienna is such a sweet baby, and I know her family will treasure these pictures forever. T.H. P.: What does big bro think of his sister? Kailee: Our 19 month old wasn’t super excited to share his mommy with his new sister mainly at bedtime. Otherwise he loves saying “sissy” and “baby”. He’s such a big helper handing things to mommy when she needs something. T.H. P.:   How did you come up with her name? Kailee:   ...
