Interview with Cooper Lietz - Seaman High Class of 2027 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Image
We had a great time photographing Cooper's senior session. My assistant Daniel and I met up with him at his brother's property, which made the session extra special. I actually photographed his brother there nearly 10 years ago, so it was pretty awesome to be back at the same location again. Cooper is a really nice guy, easy to talk to, and we had a lot of fun getting to know him during the session. Since soccer is such a big part of Cooper's life, we made sure to include that in some of his photos. We were also close to Echo Cliff, one of the most beautiful spots in the area, so we headed down there for part of the session. The weather was absolutely perfect, and having family hanging out nearby made the whole afternoon feel relaxed and enjoyable. It was a great session, and we're excited for Cooper as he heads into his senior year. T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school? Cooper: I plan to attend Kansas State University and major in Construction Science...

Interview with Juan Morales - Highland Park High School Class of 2027 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Image
We had a great time photographing Juan from Highland Park High School for his senior portraits. We started at the Capitol and got some really nice photos around the grounds before heading over to the Governor's Mansion. What made this session a little different is that we photographed everything right in the middle of the day. Normally, we like to include some country locations closer to sunset, but the light worked out beautifully and we were able to create some amazing images throughout the entire session. Juan was a lot of fun to photograph. He has a great personality, is very easy to talk to, and is naturally photogenic. The session seemed to fly by as we spent a lot of time talking about his plans after high school and some of the things he enjoys doing. After reading through his interview and hearing about his goals, it's easy to see that he has a solid plan for his future. He's a very impressive young man, and I have no doubt he's going to be successful in whatev...

Interview with Emberly Connell - Hayden High Class of 2027 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Image
We had such a great time photographing Emberly’s senior pictures! We started the session at Four Corners, where the rustic buildings and warm evening sunlight gave us the perfect backdrop for some amazing portraits. Emberly was a natural in front of the camera from the very beginning. Her smile came so easily, and she looked completely comfortable throughout the session. Her mom was there the whole time helping out and cheering her on, which made the experience even more fun. After that, we headed to Osage County Fishing Lake, where the skies absolutely stole the show. We photographed in the fields, along the gravel paths, and around the lake, but my favorite images came when we moved down to the water. Emberly looked beautiful standing along the shoreline and even stepping into the water for some truly unforgettable photos. The final images of the evening were especially stunning. The sky turned into soft shades of pink, purple, and blue, creating a cotton-candy sunset that was simpl...

Kinslee's Newborn Session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
We recently had the pleasure of photographing sweet little Kinslee, and what a fun session it was! Mom and Dad were so excited to capture this special time in their lives, and their joy was easy to see throughout the entire session. Kinslee was absolutely adorable and seemed to love being in front of the camera. She even gave us a few precious little smiles and smirks that made everyone in the room melt. One of our favorite parts of the session was watching Mom and Dad with their baby girl. Every little thing Kinslee did brought big smiles to their faces, and it was clear how much they adore her. The session flew by before we knew it, and we were able to create so many beautiful images that tell the story of these early days together. We know these photos will be treasured for years to come, and we are so thankful we got to be a small part of this special chapter for their family. T.H. Peterson: How did you come up with baby's name? Kaitlyn: Kinslee Anne came through a process of...
