Grady's newborn session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
Grady was such a sweet little guy, and he had a full head of hair that just made him even more adorable. His two big sisters were completely in love with him, and it showed in every photo. They were so gentle and sweet, and honestly, I was really impressed with how interested and cooperative they were during the session. We were able to get some really beautiful images of all three of them together, and those moments felt really special. Mom and dad were so happy the whole time, and you could just feel the warmth in their family. The session itself was a lot of fun, super relaxed, and everything just came together so naturally. We ended up with tons of great images, and I’m really thrilled with how everything turned out. It’s always such a gift to capture moments like this. T.H. P.:   What did you think when you first saw Grady? Tanya:   We kept the gender a surprise this pregnancy so when they told me it was a boy I was surprised of course but also happy because his bi...

Kate and Adam's big day - Governor's Row House - Topeka Wedding Photography

Image
Photographing Kate and Adam’s wedding was such a special experience. What was supposed to be a gray, rainy day turned into beautiful sunshine, and it honestly felt like everything just came together perfectly. Their venue had this warm, welcoming feel, and you could tell right away that this wasn’t just a wedding—it felt like a big family reunion. So many loved ones had traveled in, and the support from their family was obvious in every moment. The speeches were great, the father of the bride was so happy, and there were so many genuine smiles and happy tears throughout the day. Kate and Adam were an absolute joy to work with. You could tell they were really happy, not just with each other, but with how the day was unfolding. We were able to capture so many meaningful moments—from the big emotional ones to the fun, in-between memories. Even getting their baby to smile for photos made it feel extra special. It was just one of those weddings where everything felt real and full of love, a...

Avery and Jeremiah's Engagement Session - Beautiful Sunset session at KS Museum - Topeka's Best Wedding Photographers

Image
Avery and Jeremiah’s engagement session at the Kansas Museum was such a great evening. The sun was out, and there was this soft haze in the sky that made everything feel extra warm and beautiful. It was one of those nights where the light just works perfectly, and it made their photos feel even more special. I’ve had the chance to photograph them before, and it was just as fun this time around. These two are so easy to photograph because they genuinely enjoy being around each other. Their chemistry shows up in every smile and they just had a great time together the whole session. I loved getting to capture that. I’m really looking forward to their wedding—it’s going to be such a special day. Landry's Newborn Session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
We photographed sweet baby Landry, and she was absolutely adorable. One thing that immediately caught my eye was how much hair she had—and it was in the cutest little mohawk. I even grabbed a close-up of it because the shape was just so funny and perfect. She was such a good baby the whole time, and her session felt really calm and easygoing. We also got some beautiful photos with mom and dad that really showed that connection and love. The whole session had a very sweet, relaxed feel to it, and everything just came together so naturally. I’m really happy with how her images turned out and so thankful I got to capture these moments for their family. T.H. P.: How did you come up with her name? Jayme: I am a big Dallas Cowboys fan. Tom Landry is one of the greatest coaches in Cowboys history. I didn't want to name my baby Tom, so Landry it was. T.H. P.:   What did you think when you first saw her? Jayme:   We didn't know if we were having a boy or girl. My husband was able to ...
