Krista's Maternity Session - Beautiful Milestone session - Topeka's Best Newborn and Maternity Photographers

Image
This milestone session with Krista was such a joy to photograph. From the moment she walked in, her smile lit up the room— beautiful and full of warmth. We began the session in our studio. Krista looked radiant, glowing with happiness and love. Her joy was contagious, and it really came through in the photos. Then we headed to the lake just a short drive from the studio. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over everything. The colors were vibrant, the water was calm, and it felt like the whole scene was made just for them. Krista did some photos alone, cradling her baby bump with so much love. Then she was joined by her hubby, and you could see the deep connection and excitement they share. It was beautiful to witness and capture. This session was extra special because they’re preparing to welcome their fourth child. What a blessing it is to grow as a family. I’m so grateful to have been a small part of this moment in their lives....

Alex and Isaac's amazing special day at Rocking V Ranch - Wakarusa KS - Kansas Wedding

Image
I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Alex and Isaac’s wedding at Rocking V Ranch in Wakarusa, Kansas—and what a perfect day it was! The whole vibe was so laid back. Everyone was happy, relaxed, and just genuinely excited to celebrate. It was one of those weddings where the joy was contagious. Alex and Isaac’s connection was beautiful to witness. You could feel their love in every moment. And the support they had from friends and family? Incredible. So much warmth and encouragement surrounded them all day. Some of my favorite moments were the “first looks” Alex shared—with her bridesmaids, her family, her dad, and of course, with Isaac. Each one was so emotional and special in its own way. The ceremony took place out on the porch of the venue, and it was absolutely gorgeous. Afterward, there were lots of hugs, laughter, and heartfelt congratulations all around. And the reception? Amazing. The food was mouthwatering BBQ, the toasts were full of love and emotion (yes, plenty of te...

Rigg's Newborn session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
Meet Riggs — a beautiful newborn we had the joy of photographing in our studio. He was so calm and relaxed the whole time, a truly chill baby and a dream to work with! Riggs gave us a few sweet little smiles, and we were lucky to catch them on camera. He’s already a great model! Mom and Dad were full of love and so happy to be with their baby boy. It was heartwarming to see how much they adore him. We loved having this sweet family in the studio. Riggs, you are so loved already. Welcome to the world! T.H. Peterson: What did you think when you first saw Riggs? Brilee: Our oldest was born at 32 weeks and Riggs was born at 36 weeks, so the first thought I had was, “He’s SO big!.” Riggs was born at 5lbs 13oz so he was definitely not considered big, but to me, he was huge! T.H. P.: How did you come up with his name? Brilee: My husband and I tossed around several names and finally decided on Riggs. I really wanted to name him after my late grandfather in some way. His middle name was Leon...

Image
Meet Warren, the sweetest little guy with the most relaxed personality. At almost a month old, he was happy, content, and an absolute dream to photograph. We captured some beautiful moments of him, both on his own and with his adoring parents, who couldn’t stop gushing over their precious boy. To make the session even more special, Mom and Dad brought along some adorable penguin props—Warren’s little theme! It was the perfect personal touch, and we loved incorporating it into his photos. This session was full of love, snuggles, and the kind of sweetness that makes newborn photography so special. Welcome to the world, baby Warren! T.H. Peterson: How did you come up with Warren's name? Meghan: My husband Cooper came up with his name. A lot of my family is from Warrenton, Missouri. It’s also where my grandparents had their first date. I also went to college in Warrensburg, Missouri. After picking his name we also discovered that was Cooper’s great great Grandpa’s name and we both als...

Ava was absolutely beautiful for her senior portrait session! We had an amazing time capturing her both in the studio and outdoors, and every shot turned out stunning. One of the highlights of her session was getting to include her adorable big dog, Goose. He was such a sweetheart, and the photos of them together were just perfect! When we headed outside, it was freezing ! But Ava came prepared with her cowhide blanket, and let me tell you—it looked incredible. I even told her she looked like she just stepped out of a catalog! Despite the cold, she totally rocked the session with confidence and style. Ava, you were amazing to work with, and I can’t wait for you to see the final images! T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school? Ava: My plans after high school are to attend Washburn University for my first 3 years, then get accepted into a vet school hopefully out of state.
