Jordan and Tiffany's engagement session at the Cyrus Hotel in downtown Topeka was such a great way to spend a Saturday morning. We started inside the beautiful hotel, taking advantage of the elegant lobby and other indoor spaces before heading up to the rooftop patio overlooking Kansas Avenue. The views of downtown Topeka made the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos, and the weather could not have been better. What stood out most about Jordan and Tiffany was how much they genuinely enjoy being together. You could see it in every smile, laugh, and look they shared throughout the session. They told me this was their first professional photo shoot together, but you never would have guessed it. They were complete naturals in front of the camera and had incredible chemistry. Hannah was so much fun to photograph for her senior session at Ward Meade Park . One of the coolest parts of the day was when she showed me a photo we had taken of her when she was little. Even though it had been years, I actually remembered photographing her, which made for a fun trip down memory lane. Hannah has a bright personality and an amazing smile, and she was incredibly photogenic from the moment we started. Her mom came along for the session too, and it was great getting to spend some time with both of them. It was a warm day, but Hannah handled it like a pro. As a dancer, she knows how to bring energy and confidence in front of the camera, and it definitely showed in her photos. She wore two great outfits during the session. I loved the white dress she started with, and some of my favorite images came from that look. Her second outfit was bright orange, which happens to be my favorite color. We had such a great time photographing Mia for her senior portraits! She is a talented senior from Shawnee Heights and one of those people who is just naturally photogenic. She brought so much personality to her session with lots of beautiful smiles, great expressions, and some really amazing outfits. Her dogs joined us for part of the session, which made things even more fun. We started at Shawnee Lake and later headed downtown, finishing up around the Cyrus Hotel and the Capitol. Even though the weather wasn't ideal and we had to deal with some rain, Mia absolutely shined in every location. One of my favorite things about this session was seeing how confident and comfortable Mia was in front of the camera. We were able to create colorful, vibrant images that really showcase both her beauty and her fun personality.
