Let me tell you about the amazing maternity session I had with Burghandie and Austen at Osage Fishing Lake during sunset. It was seriously so beautiful! Burghandie was totally glowing, and she looked absolutely stunning in her sunflower dress. Despite the recent heatwave, it turned out to be really nice, and we had a blast together. They're such an adorable couple, and I'm excited to meet their baby! Hanging out with them is always a great time, and I can't wait for more awesome times ahead. Savannah's 1st birthday cake smash was a blast! The theme revolved around her obsession with the Little Mermaid, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Her parents went all out with the cutest mermaid-inspired cake, and the setup was super cute complete with gorgeous blues, greens, and adorable seashell and the cake even had a mermaid tail sticking out the top. Perfect! When the moment came for Savannah to dig into the cake, she did not disappoint! She joyfully smeared frosting all over herself, and the messier, the better! Like any parent, you can see the pride mom and dad have with their baby. They love her so much! Here's to many more magical moments with Savannah! Today, I wanna share this awesome experience I had photographing Cohen's senior photos. Cohen is a laid back dude who goes to Washburn Rural, passionate about soccer, so, we made sure to snap some shots on the field, and he rocked it! But that's not all, his mom had this brilliant idea – we captured him gazing at the baseball field and the basketball court. Even though he doesn't play those sports anymore, they were a BIG part of his life while growing up. These capture his journey in life. He's such a nice and respectful guy. A bit on the quiet side, but that didn't stop us from having fun during the photo session. He looked like great in every outfit! Time flew by, and suddenly, we realized the session was over! I wanna tell you about this super adorable newborn we photographed yesterday. Her name is Layne Adelaide, and let me tell you, she's the cutest thing ever! We've known her family for a while now, and they're practically like family to us. This photoshoot was so awesome! Layne was perfect in any angle, and we captured some seriously beautiful pics of her. But you know what made it even more special? Her big brother, Easton, was there too, and he was just beaming with happiness around her. He totally adores his little sis, and it was the sweetest thing ever! Love capturing moments like this! T.H. Peterson: How did you come up with her name? Regan: I have always loved names for girls that can be used for boys too, and her dad’s favorite movie is 8 seconds, so we went with Lane but added a y to make it look girlier! T.H. P.: Did you have any special cravings or foods you averted during pregnancy? Regan: I was obsessed with cucumbers for a while and the thought of Chinese food m
