T.H. Peterson Photography

Yesterday we photographed Joshua's senior portraits. It was a cold day so I was a little worried but Joshua did amazing. We hung out and took his session downtown and also in NOTO. I always say if . a senior is willing to brave the cold, so am I. I also loved the dramatic brooding sky. It gave us great light and a beautiful backdrop. I've added some of my favorites from his shoot. Hope you enjoy!!   T.H. Peterson:  What's your favorite thing about going to Silver Lake? Joshua:  Band.  T.H. P.:  What are your plans after high school?  Joshua:  Going to basic training and then college at KU. T.H. P.:  What is your favorite and least favorite class this final year of high school?  Joshua:  Band then economics.  T.H. P.:  How would your friends describe you?  Joshua:  Quiet and funny. T.H. P.:  What would people be surprised to learn about you?  Joshua:  I know a lot about building things with with tools and just basically carpenter work. T.H. P.:

  We welcomed Emmett to our studio for his newborn session and he was such a good baby.  He barely whimpered the entire session, and we were able to get some great eye contact with him looking into the camera!  As soon as Emmett laid down on the bag, he was posing, cooing and smiling for us. He smiled a few times, but like most babies, only when Tommy walked away!  Mom did a wonderful job helping to soothe him, and watched her special boy pose while we wrapped him up using the American flag! It was one of our favorite shots! We loved his big, bright eyes and his chunky cheeks!  He held his hands by his face for most of the shoot, and looked so sweet and adorable! We just love his session and hope you enjoy this one, too! Thank you! T.H. Peterson:  How did you and your family feel when you found out you were pregnant with Emmett? Jenny:  When we found out we were pregnant with Emmett we were excited yet pretty nervous being so close to our little girl and how things would

We had an incredible newborn session with Cecilia, and she did such a wonderful job!  Her session was very special because we were able to pose her on the bag and get some really unique images!  Once we were able to get this sweet angel settled in, we immediately laid her on the bag and began to pose her in various ways.  She was such a natural beauty, with her adorable cheeks and cute little nose. We loved showing off her hair and she did too! She preferred not to wear a headband, and we were totally on board!  One of the best parts of her session was getting her brother to interact with her, and seeing the love they share. He will always be his sister’s protector, and it was very clear that mom and dad are so proud of their kids!  We loved everything about this session, and we are so excited to share it with you!   T. H. Peterson: How did you and your family feel when you found out you were pregnant with Cecilia? Tara:   We were very excited and thankful to find out

Albert came in with his family for a newborn session and he did an incredible job!  We were able to pose him in some of the cutest props and poses! He was ready for his winter wonderland debut in his reindeer outfit, and we were able to dress him up like a little snowman!  Our hearts literally melted, and we had some great luck with his calm demeanor! His older sister was so adorable, too! She just loved helping and watching as we posed Albert. She really enjoyed when we made cookies, sharing her snack with her baby brother!  It was so cute to see how much she loves Albert! What a great session and what a sweet family!   T. H. Peterson: How did you and your family feel when you found out you were pregnant with Albert? Robyn:  We were so excited when we got pregnant with Albert. We had a miscarriage earlier in the year and we were so thankful that we got our rainbow baby. When we told our family, they were so excited for us! T. H. P.:  How did you decide on the name Al

  We had the pleasure of taking newborn pictures of the sweet little angel, Ellisyn.  She is one of the strongest newborns we have ever met, breaking free from nearly every swaddle we out her in!  We were shocked at how strong and determined she was for only a week old! WOW! Mom and dad brought in some special wraps for us to use, symbolizing that Ellisyn is their rainbow baby, and we were able to get some really great images of her!  After some attempts at swaddling her, we finally got her wrapped and took some great pictures of her at the cookie baking table. She has mom and dad wrapped around their finger, it was so cute to see them with her! We are so happy that we got the chance to meet her, what a special gift!! T. H.
