Ellie and Jeanathan - Spring Session in the Studio - Topeka Kid's Photographer

Image
Hanna, who is a long time client, has recently begun helping us with newborns and it's been a huge blessing not only to our business but to her as well as she has had an opportunity to grow as a photographer herself and practice on getting better at wrapping and posing babies. She is growing by leaps and bounds and I am so thankful to have her on our team! She's someone I always appreciate having around! We photographed a session with her littles and I asked her to write about her session with us and here's what shes said: From our first session with T.H. Peterson we fell in love. The results were and are breath taking, but the entire experience is why we continue coming back. This session we wanted to capture our sons first birthday as well as our daughters third. We also wanted to recreate some really special images from our daughters previouse sessions.  Tommy never fails to capture those perfect moments in between the wiggles and shakes of our children and it's a ...

Sawyer's newborn session - Interview with mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Image
Sawyer is a CUTE kid! He was so chill and photographing him was a blast. I love the portraits we got of him and the images with mom and dad are super special! He even gave us a smile right at the start! Even as a newborn you can see he's got lots of personality! T.H. Peterson: What did you think when you first saw Sawyer? Jill: I was just so happy and excited that he was finally here. It felt so unreal! T.H. P.: How did you come up with his name? Jill: We struggled at first trying to find ones we both liked. We wanted something different, but not weird and we both liked Sawyer! For his middle names, we both liked Ellis and thought it went well with Sawyer, and Wayne after my dad who passed in 2012. T.H. P.: Something you liked about your session with us? I loved how good you guys Jill: were with him. As a first time parent, it’s a little nerve racking to hand your baby over to people, but you guys did amazing! T.H. P.: What is life like adjusting to a new baby? Jill: It’s definit...

Tracer was such a sweet baby! I remember almost immediately when we started the session, he was comfortable and ready to be posed. Usually it takes a min to get them settled but he was a very good baby. I mean just look at that smile. He smiled almost right at the beginning and he was just a blast to photograph! Here are a handful of our favorite images from the session. Enjoy! T.H. Peterson: What did you think when you first saw Tracer? Kaitlin: That he was just as amazing as I’d imagined! T.H. P.: How did you guys come up with his name? Kaitlin: His father came up with it! T.H. P.: What was your pregnancy like? Any food cravings or aversions? Kaitlin: My pregnancy was wonderful, especially feeling his little movements, lots of fruit cravings! T.H. P.: What is something you liked about your session with us? Kaitlin: I loved your creativity! The different outfits to put him in and the outfits were too precious! And the little couch was perfect! T.H. P.: Who does Tracer look like? Kait...
