Interview with Kendall Smith - Perry Lecompton Class of 2026 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Image
Kendall’s senior session was one of those that just felt easy from the start. He’s a genuinely nice guy—laid back, friendly, and great to work with—which always makes for a fun session. We kicked things off downtown in an alley and got some really strong shots right away. Kendall has a great smile, and it showed up naturally in those photos without any effort. From there, we headed to the Capitol and grabbed some awesome images with that classic Topeka backdrop. After that, we found an incredible neighborhood filled with peak fall color, and the timing couldn’t have been better. The trees were glowing, and the fall vibes were on point. We wrapped things up at Gage Park with a more country, rustic feel and even more fall color to work with. Kendall was a solid subject the whole time, and everything just flowed. Before we knew it, the session was over—and it was one of those shoots that reminds us why we love senior sessions so much. T.H. P.: What are your plans after high school? Ken...

Kayla’s senior session was such a fun one! She comes from a small rural community but wanted a city vibe for her photos, so we spent most of her session downtown. She was so photogenic and had the best smile, which made photographing her an absolute joy. We laughed a lot throughout the shoot, and her personality really came through in the photos. Her mom joined us and was so fun to hang out with, making the whole experience even better. We wrapped up the evening downtown with the most amazing golden hour sunset, and it was truly breathtaking. The light was perfect and gave her photos such a beautiful glow. Kayla has such a great personality and energy, and I can’t wait to share these photos—they really capture who she is and this special moment in her life. T.H. Interview with Hunter May - Royal Valley - Class of 2026 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Meet Hunter—a smart, competitive, and funny senior with a passion for cross country and a bright future ahead. We had the pleasure of photographing his senior session starting downtown, then moving to a rustic field near Shawnee Lake. The setting sun gave everything a warm, golden glow, and the beautiful weather made for a perfect evening. Hunter was so easy to work with—cooperative, kind, and quick to smile. His family came along for the session, and everyone was in a great mood, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Hunter first got into cross country his sophomore year and has loved the sport ever since. He’s motivated by his competitive spirit and the chance to see his girlfriend at practice. He doesn’t even listen to music while running—he likes to train the way he races: focused and in the moment. After graduation, he plans to attend K-State and become an athletic trainer. We’re excited to see where the road takes him, and we’re so glad we got to be part of celebr...
