Meeting Tate was just the sweetest. He came in with a full, beautiful head of blonde hair and the tiniest little features, making all kinds of adorable faces the whole time. He was calm and snuggly, and the session felt so easygoing from start to finish. You could just feel how much Mom and Dad adore him—there was so much love in every little moment, and it made capturing these images feel really special. Big brother was a huge fan right from the start. He was so proud, giving Tate hugs and kisses and wanting to be close to him the whole time. It was such a happy, fun session with so many genuine moments between them all. I truly loved the images we were able to get and the connection this family has—Tate is already so loved, and it shows in every single photo. T.H. We love hanging out with the Smith family, so being able to meet Susan’s extended family for a Mother’s Day shoot was so cool!  We had a great session at Lake Shawnee and even though it was a bit windy, we found perfect spots for their session!  It was fun to joke around with everyone and we captured some genuine expressions and some really good smiles!  We are excited to share a few highlights of our favorites! I'm really happy and excited to share this session. Yesterday we took family photos and I brought Charles (my assistant) along to help. He took lots of these portraits and I just love the results. Holly, as always, does an incredible job picking out matching outfits. We look great! Instead of going to different spots, we just stayed put and did lots of different poses and combinations. I really love how we all look and getting to see all the different expressions and laughs was priceless. You'd think as a photographer I'd take lots more portraits of our family together but no. We really don't photograph like a formal session pretty much ever. So this was really special and I insisted to Holly that it's something we NEED to do from here on out yearly. So many great images from the session and these are the ones we picked out as our favorites. I hope they make you smile like they did us.
