Grace and Andrew are getting married! Engagement session at Kansas University - Lawrence, KS Wedding Photographers

Image
Grace and Andrew's engagement session ended up being so beautiful! KU is truly one of the most beautiful locations in our area. I told them any angle we point the camera, the background is just gorgeous. They were so much fun to photograph. Such good subjects! And their pup Bentley (I think!) He is adorable! He was like the cherry on top of this session! Both Grace and Andrew are alumni and so this was a very special part of their lives. Very grateful and honored to be a part of their big day. Thanks for checking out their session! Enjoy!  To book your own session, please call Tommy or Holly at 785.793.2492 or 785.213.0812 or email tommy@thpetersonphoto.com

Coban and Sydney's big day! They pledge their love to each other - Beautiful Topeka KS Wedding

Image
On a beautiful fall afternoon, we had the pleasure of capturing thel union of Coban and Sydney. So much excitement as we witnessed Coban's  smile from the moment we met him, eagerly awaiting Sydney's entrance down the aisle. The setting for their nuptials was Mater Dei Holy Name Catholic Church, a perfect backdrop that added to the magic of their special day. What made their ceremony even more memorable was the unexpected but delightful addition of a mariachi band, a unique touch that set their wedding apart. After the ceremony, we moved on to capture family portraits and some lively bridal party photos against the iconic backdrop of the Capitol steps. The joy and laughter were a testament to the genuine happiness shared by everyone present. Returning to the church's reception venue, the celebration continued with an unforgettable evening of festivities. Friends and family, some of whom had traveled great distances to be there, were ready to dance and make memories that wou...

Mackenly and Ben came in for their Valentine's shoot and it was a blast. We had fun trying out all sorts of poses and they were really natural in front of the camera. The chemistry they have is great. It was rainy out, so we did most inside but we did manage to get a fun photo of them out in the rain. Here are a few of our favorite shots from their session. Maddy and Connor's engagement session - Sunflowers at Eleanor's Events - Topeka's Best Engagement Portraits

Image
This is an engagement session I won't forget. It was so much fun and it flew by! We took some out at the lake (Osage County Fishing Lake) and then headed over to Eleanor's to get some beautiful sunflower portraits. I can't tell you how beautiful the afternoon was. It was absolutely perfect, especially considering the scorchers we've had recently. The cooler weather was a huge relief. Connor and Maddy are such a cute couple and they did amazing. The smiles, the embraces, the laughs, it's was all perfect. And they included their adorable doggies. They made the session even better! Thanks for checking out their shoot! Enjoy!   T.H. Peterson: How did you guys meet and what was the first thing you guys thought when you met each other? Connor: We first met in middle school but we weren’t really great friends until junior year of high school. The one thing I’ve always thought about Madison is that she has the most contagious laugh and smile. Every time she laughs I...
