Emily… wow!! She was such an amazing model! Marty, my assistant on the shoot, told her that she looked like a Barbie doll and I have to agree. She is beautiful and so photogenic. I told Emily that her hair was probably the best hair I’ve ever seen on a senior. She looked amazing head to toe! It was a beautiful evening and we had so much fun! I loved her outfits, very bold and colorful. We’ve photographed Emily and her family for a long time so it was a really special session for us. So glad we were able to be a part of it! We had the best time photographing the Robertson family, and we were so excited to be able to hang out with the kids and mom and dad. Kristin and Charles are always so much fun and their kiddos have so much personality. We laughed the entire time that we were photographing them during their front porch session . Everything from their littlest bench pressing her car to their son and dad sword fighting, to their oldest daughter in her “senior picture” poses. There was not a dull moment, even during the family pictures when their dog joined in. He was so chill and had the coolest personality. Towards the end of the session we had everyone lay in the grass and their little list, Maggie, kept standing up on her dad’s back and cracking up. It was so much fun. We had all the kids get on their bicycles and it was just neat to see how much they have changed in the last year. We ended the session with the most epic fist bump ever!  Enjoy this session!!   We travel to North Topeka to visit Michael and Amber Long, and to do a front porch session of their family.  They had on some really cool shirts that they had made for the quarantine and we instantly knew this was going to be a cool session!  We also fell in love with their dog, Charlie.  When they did their outfit change and Charlie had on a Chiefs shirt, we nearly died from the cuteness!  We absolutely loved the way that their pictures came out especially the ones of the family in the street. The light was awesome in their outfits were so cool. We really enjoyed photographing them and it was really great to see where they lived and to be able to meet Charlie.  Earlier this week, Holly and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary. Can't believe it's been 17 years! Our anniversary was on Sunday but we celebrated on Monday. Honestly, it was sort of a last minute decision on what to do. We have a 4 month old baby and that definitely limited our choices but Monday we woke, knowing we wanted to go to KC and decided to try something big. Ultimately, it didn't end up being what we planned but it was still lots of fun with the family. Our plan was to go to Kansas City and try a bunch of restaurants and just get something small at each place... then move on to the next. We ended up getting to four different locations, eating a little and by the end of the day, we WERE STUFFED. So here's how the day went!  First place we decided to stop was Wheatfields Bakery.
