I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Alex and Isaac’s wedding at Rocking V Ranch in Wakarusa, Kansas—and what a perfect day it was! The whole vibe was so laid back. Everyone was happy, relaxed, and just genuinely excited to celebrate. It was one of those weddings where the joy was contagious. Alex and Isaac’s connection was beautiful to witness. You could feel their love in every moment. And the support they had from friends and family? Incredible. So much warmth and encouragement surrounded them all day. Some of my favorite moments were the “first looks” Alex shared—with her bridesmaids, her family, her dad, and of course, with Isaac. Each one was so emotional and special in its own way. The ceremony took place out on the porch of the venue, and it was absolutely gorgeous. Afterward, there were lots of hugs, laughter, and heartfelt congratulations all around. And the reception? In August, I had the privilege of photographing Damien and Brianna’s wedding at Abe and Jake's Landing in Lawrence, Kansas. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the day was full of love, laughter, and so much joy. The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, with Damien and Brianna exchanging vows in front of everyone they care about most. It was clear how much love they have for each other. After the ceremony, the reception was a blast! There was tons of dancing, laughter, and fun as everyone celebrated Damien and Brianna's big day. The energy in the room was incredible, and it was clear everyone was having an amazing time. From the first dance to the last song, the reception was packed with unforgettable moments. Overall, Damien and Brianna's wedding was absolutely beautiful, and I’m so grateful I got to capture all of it. Excited to share our engagement session with Coban and Sydney. They were perfect models! We started downtown hitting different spots to get some good variety including on top of a parking garage. It was a beautiful place to get that sunset. Then we headed out to an area where we could get a country setting. All in all, it was an awesome session and I was so happy to have met Coban and Sydney. They were the best models! So happy and smiley, great experience! We met up with this adorable couple, Ariel and Zach and their dog, Kobe,  for their engagement session at the Governor’s Mansion and they were so fun!  With a smile that brightened our evening, Ariele looked so beautiful. We immediately noticed that Zach adores her, and he was really cooperative during the session.  The star of the session was their heeler, Kobe. They say that when it rains on your wedding day, it signifies a marriage that will endure and outlast anything that comes its way.  The reasoning is when you tie a knot and the knot becomes wet, it is extremely hard to untie.  So, when you “tie the knot” on a rainy day, your marriage is just as hard to unravel! Well, Ryan and Chelsea’s marriage will last forever because it poured on us… twice!  And those two were so easygoing and relaxed, it didn’t even phase them!  They were patient and we waited out the rain, and they had PERFECT cloud coverage for their ceremony!  WHOA!   The couple decided to marry right there on their property and it was beautiful!  They set up old doors, hay bales, plenty of fun signs and the entire atmosphere had a very laid back country vibe.  Chelsea looked so stunning in her dress, and Ryan was so excited to see her walk down the aisle!  We could see the love between the two of them, and it was so strong!...
