A few weeks ago I had the privilege of photographing MaKayla from Silver Lake during an early morning sunrise session at her school. We started on the softball field, and the sky put on the most colorful display — pinks, oranges, and purples that made the perfect backdrop for her softball photos. You could clearly see how much she loves the sport in every shot, and the sunrise made the whole scene feel really special. After we finished on the field, we headed inside the school to capture some awesome wrestling photos. Even though MaKayla recently injured her thumb, she didn’t let that slow her down one bit. She showed so much strength and determination, and it was inspiring to see her passion for both sports come through in her photos. It was truly an amazing session from start to finish! T.H. June 13th was the night of the fights for Organized Chaos VIII. It was promoted as one of the best events cards from Gladiator Fighting Association and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT! It was incredible. The fights were incredible. I don't think a single fight left us wanting more. All the athletes and fighters fought their hearts out. There were five title fights and the crowd was hype! It was one of the funnest nights of fights I've ever seen and photographed. I've posted a few sneak peeks here but at the bottom of this post there is a slideshow with lots of great highlights from the event. Hope you enjoy!  Once again Scott Heston and Gladiator Fighting Association stepped up and put on a line up of fights that did not disappoint. Only 9 fights on this card but it was awesome. Every fight was a blast to watch and everyone definitely left their heart out in the ring. Another impressive thing was this was a sold out fight well before fight night.  Super excited to share our shots from Organized Chaos 5 in Topeka last Saturday July 26!!! It was an awesome night of crazy good fights!!!! 13 fights total if I'm not mistaken. I will say this, shooting any kind of action is always a challenge and fights are about the most challenging kind of action there is but I absolutely love it. Anything with this level of emotion is my cup of tea! It was an amazing experience and I certainly hope to shoot many more events like this! I won't go into detail about each of the fights but I will say this, everyone fought hard. Everyone left it in the cage. Great sportsmanship and unexpected wins and losses. Several KOs as well! Definitely makes for an entertaining night! With all that said, I will preface the slideshow below has 400 images.
