Interview with Haylie Kaberline - 2017 Seaman High Grad - Topeka's Best and Most Creative Senior Portraits

Haylie is a lovely young lady! She has a beautiful smile and fun personality. What I loved about working with her was her outgoing personality and her enthusiasm! Believe it or not, not everyone gets excited when the camera is pointed at them, so to have someone excited to be here and have lots of ideas, is what makes a great session! Haylie was fun to photograph, she had wonderful suggestions and we were excited to be able to create an incredible session for her!! I think you'll love what you see. She had a great interview too and at the bottom of the post you'll find her slideshow. That's a favorite thing of mine that we do. It really showcases our seniors nicely! Enjoy!!

T.H. Peterson: What is your favorite thing about going to Seaman High School? 

Haylie: I love the administration and some of the students, mainly the ones I play sports with and my best friend Morgan Deedrick. 

T.H. P.:  If you had to eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Haylie: Olive Garden 

T.H. P.: What is some good advice that has helped you in life and who gave it to you?

Haylie:" The game doesn't remember what you did, you do." Coach Monhollon. It helps me move on from a lot of things in life because it helps me forget about some of the negatives around me. 

T.H. P.: How would your friends describe you?

Haylie: Loud, especially during sports, very energetic, determined, out spoken and athletic.

T.H. P.: Most embarrassing moment.

Haylie: During a volleyball game I got drilled in the head by a Topeka high player. It hit me so hard it knocked me off my feet. 

T.H. P.: Who is your favorite cartoon character and why?

Haylie: Sullivan, because he has a big heart but can also be a monster when needed, and I can relate to that. 

T.H. P.: What is your favorite summer activity?

Haylie: Playing sports and hanging out with my friends. 

T.H. P.: If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?

Haylie: Hawaii, because a lot of my family has been there and said it is beautiful. 

T.H. P.: You play sports, what is your favorite sport and best memory involving that sport?

Haylie: My favorite sport is volleyball. My favorite memory is when we were having a team bonding night and we were playing ping pong and I had the ball and the paddle in the same hand, I went to toss the ball to Taylor but I accidentally let go of the paddle at the same time and hit Sydney McNorton, who was sitting on the opposite side of the table as Taylor in the head with my paddle. 

T.H. P.: What would people be surprised to find out about you?

Haylie: That Hayden Miller is my brother, since he used to be "famous" on social media. 

T.H. P.: You had an amazing session. What was your favorite part about your session?

Haylie: The softball pictures with the smoke and the pictures with the fireworks and smoke in the abandoned building. 

T.H. P.: What makes a good teacher?

Haylie: Knowing nobody's perfect, and having flexibility.
