Interview with Elana McDonald - Clay Center Community High - Class of 2018 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

We are so excited to share Elana's session! She came to us all the way from Clay Center! We consider it an honor if someone is willing to come that distance to have portraits with us! Elana was fun to photograph. I loved her smile and laugh. She was extremely likable and very photogenic. Honestly one thing I really enjoyed about photographing her was that since she wasn't from the area, anywhere we went was new to her. That's a big deal to me. I love taking seniors to cool locations they are unfamiliar with. We had a wonderful afternoon for portraits. It was awesome. Here's a few of our favorites, the highlights. Hope you enjoy! Also at the end, there is a slideshow. Enjoy!
T.H. Peterson: Best thing about going to Clay Center Community High?
Elana: It’s small enough to know everyone but not small enough to know everyone’s story.
T.H. P.: What are your plans after high school?
Elana: Attend Washburn University and major in graphic design and minor in photography.
T.H. P.: What is your favorite outdoor activity?

T.H. P.: What was your favorite part of your shoot with us?

T.H. P.: What would say would be your biggest pet peeve?
Elana: When people give me attitude for no reason AT ALL!
T.H. P.: What would people be surprised to learn about you?
Elana: I’m not a fan of watching sports on TV, but I love watching any sport live!
T.H. P.: What kind of student are you?
Elana: Average student - more like a social butterfly.
T.H. P.: What are your favorite and least favorite classes this year?
Elana: Favorite - Yearbook
Least favorite - Government
T.H. P.: If you had $100, a full tank of gas and a free afternoon and your friends with you, what would you do?

T.H. P.: Best advice your mom ever gave you.
