Interview with Ashton Lowe - Mission Valley Class of 2022 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Ashton immediately caught our attention with his awesome naturally curly mullet!  We haven’t ever seen such a cool hairstyle on a senior before in our lives. He had a really great smile, and he was so laidback!  The best part was watching his mom's reaction as we took his picture!  She told us afterwards how unique of a guy her son is and that we captured him perfectly during the session. His session was just perfect. He was so much fun to photograph and it was the most beautiful afternoon. We love this guy and we hope his mullet stays as cool as he is!  Enjoy!

T.H. Peterson: When you look back on this school in later years, what will you remember most?

Ashton: Being a Viking Spirit leader my senior year was so much fun!  The football, volleyball and basketball student sections are always the best!

T.H. P.: What is one outrageous thing you desperately want to try before you die?

Ashton: Ride a bull.

T.H. P.: If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you move and why?

Ashton: Montana because of the big fields and there are less people.

T.H. P.: What was your favorite part of your session with us?

Ashton: Taking pictures on the farm that I work on.

T.H. P.: What’s usually the first thought in your head when you wake up in the morning?

Ashton: Oh shoot. What time is it?

T.H. P.:  What was your (mom's) favorite part of the senior shoot?

Ashton: My mom said she loved getting to spend time just focused on me and the rite of passage of senior pictures.  She said she only teared up a few times!

T.H. P.: If you were stranded on a desert island, what five things would you need to survive and why?

Ashton: A lighter to make a fire. A machete to build a structure.  Extra undies because you don't want to chafe.  A solar powered phone charger and a cell phone so I can call my mom and play games.

T.H. P.: Do you think high school is preparing you for college?

Ashton: Some of my teachers really have helped me a lot.  I think I am just about as prepared as I can be.

T.H. P.: Whatcha wanna be when you grow up?

Ashton: A feed or seed sales representative.

T.H. P.: What is your greatest fear and have you ever tried to face it?

Ashton: Iguanas.  The fact that they can swim in water and walk on land is terrifying.
