Maddox is such a perfect baby! Her features are just precious and she was such a good model for us! So chill and happy. It was a lot of fun and we tried out some new poses with her and she did great! I loved the different expressions she gave us. She was truly a blessing to work with! Here's a few of our favorites and an interview with mom. Lots of fun! T.H. Peterson: What did you think when you first saw Maddox?  Mariah: I was in total awe when I first saw Maddox. I couldn’t believe I had created this beautiful, perfect, little baby child. T.H. P.: How did you come up with her name?  Mariah: My grandma, my mom, and myself all have names that start with “M” so I knew if I ever had a daughter that she would need an “M” name too. I have always loved the name Maddox, especially for a girl! I was afraid to suggest it to my husband because I loved it so much and I didn’t want him to void the name 😅 he also loved it! Her middle names are Jolene Eagle. Jolene is from our lord and savior

Charlie was the perfect little model. Just look at her face! She is so cute and weather she was sound asleep or awake, she had the best expression! She was like a little doll and I absolutely love every image we photographed of her! These are a few highlights from our session with her! Check it out! T.H. Peterson: How did you come up with Charlie's name? Macie: I knew if I was going to have a girl that her name would be Charlie. I’ve liked the name Charlie for a girl since I was little.  T.H. P.: What did you think when you first saw her? Macie: I thought she was so beautiful and that I couldn’t wait to hold her!  T.H. P.: What is something you liked about your session with us? Macie: You were very kind, caring, and patient with Charlie. You gave options for us to feel included in her session as well.  T.H. P.: What has life been like adjusting to a new baby in the house? Macie: Easier than we had expected. It is very hard work to care for a child but it’s even more rewarding maki

Our session with Owen was great! He is such a handsome little guy and he was such a great model. He let us pose him anyway we wanted and he had such a sweet temperament. Mom had some great ideas as well! So happy with how his session turned out! T.H. Peterson: What has life been like with a new baby in the house? Kailee: There is a huge learning curve with a newborn. We are so overjoyed one moment and stressed about figuring out why he is crying the next. Our dog Angus still isn’t too sure about his new little brother. T.H. P.: Something you liked about your session with us?  Kailee: Very relaxed and flexible. Especially considering we had to break for a feeding session and a diaper change  T.H. P.: Can you tell me about the props you brought and their emotional  significance?  Kailee: Both my husband and I love to fish and hope Owen develops the same passion.  T.H. P.: What did you think when you first saw Owen?  Kailee: We were shocked he had eyebrows and how long/big he was.  T.H.

In May, I had the chance to photograph Ryan and Abigail at Circle S Ranch, just outside of Lawrence, KS. The place was totally country with beautiful rolling hills stretching as far as the eye could see. It was a sunny, warm day, and you could just feel the love in the air. Abigail is a strong and lovely woman with so much personality and beauty. Her smile could light up a room, and she radiated confidence. Ryan, on the other hand, is the sweetest, funniest, and most tender person you'll ever meet. His playful nature and kind heart made it clear why Abigail fell for him. The moment Abigail came out for their first look was unforgettable. Ryan was in tears, overwhelmed by his love for her. They decided to exchange their vows privately, away from the crowd, which made the moment even more intimate and touching. The way they looked at each other during their vows was heartwarming. Judd is such a great guy. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with him. He has the best personality and you can tell quickly that he has a very kind and considerate heart. He also has a hilarious sense of humor which you can get a feel for from his interview. I really enjoyed photographing him and seeing his sister and mom again. We photographed his sister's senior photos before and Judd's session was just as fun! These are some of our favorites from his session! Enjoy! T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school? Judd: Still processing… I’m looking at lots of different options. If I don’t play football, I will probably go to K-State.  T.H. P.: Classes you’re glad to be done with? Judd: Junior English. I like my teacher but not a fan of English as a subject.  T.H. P.: How would your friends describe you?
