Raylynn Paige's Newborn Session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

What an adorable baby. On more than one occasion during our session, I heard mom say, "She's sooo cute!" I totally agree, what a beautiful tiny little human. So precious. Perfect little features and I even commented to mom that it is very common for babies to have blotchy skin or blemishes but her skin was perfect, like no flakes at all! Pretty amazing. We had such a good time with Raylynn and her mommy and daddy. It was a really special session and I am so happy to share it with you! Thank you for checking it out!

T.H. Peterson: What did you think when you first saw Raylynn?
Karsyn: When I first saw Raylynn I just thought she was the most perfect thing ever and how I couldn’t believe I finally had my baby. 

T.H. P.: How did you come up with her name? 

Karsyn: The first part of her name Ray, I came up with as she’s my little ray of sunshine. the second part lynn for my little sister (Kaileigh) as for that’s her middle name and then I decided on the middle name Paige for my older sister (Kendall) as for thats also her middle name as well. 

T.H. P.: Who does she look like ? 

Karsyn: She definitely looks like her daddy!

T.H. P.: What was something you liked about your session with us? 

Karsyn: My favorite part of the session was how gentle they were with her! 

T.H. P.: What was your labor and delivery like?

Karsyn: My labor and delivery was extremely smooth and was just by far amazing. The best first experience I could ask for! Especially with the help of my amazing support person Nathan.

Miss Taylor was such a joy to photograph! We were blessed to capture multiple sessions with her. She is so photogenic and sweet. I love the images that we were able to make for her. How to Prepare for a Photo Session - Topeka's Best Family Portrait Photographers

Select outfits that will make for a timeless portrait. Choose practical clothing items, and keep the location and time of year in mind.  Select clothing items and accessories that are not too distracting or that you will have to adjust often during the session (think long necklaces or ruffled tops on a windy day).  Keep in mind the weather, wind speed, and humidity/chance of rain.  If you have littles, bring them some snacks to help give them incentives during the session.  This can help us to get kids to cooperate and make or break a session.  If it is windy, wear your hair up.  Trimming your bangs/hair slightly to keep them out of your eyes is a great idea, too! Use product like mousse, gel, pomade, and hairspray to tame your mane!    Pick shoes that will be easy to walk in at the location of the session.  For example, high heels are not recommended for sunflower shoots, but would look great in an urban/downtown setting.  Bring an extra jacket or cardigan to th

Kiera's shoot was really awesome. The property we got to photograph on was so photogenic and I think was the perfect backdrop to show off her personality and passions! Our session with Eli was great! It was a beautiful day and we focused on his passion for flying! I think in 20+ years, this was a first for me! So much fun and what an interesting experience! Our session with Trenten was outstanding. It was great because we really got to showcase his passion in life which are the sports he plays. We highlighted wrestling, football and baseball. It's been a month since I had the pleasure of photographing Damen and Camah’s beautiful wedding at Cedar Forest Valley in De Soto, KS. The venue was absolutely stunning—surrounded by lush trees, rolling hills, and an awesome pond that added a touch of magic to the whole setting. From the moment I arrived, everyone was in such great spirits as they got ready. The small, intimate wedding party made the day feel even more special, with so many laughs and so much happiness filling the rooms as the couple prepared for their big moment. The outdoor ceremony by the pond was truly gorgeous. With their closest friends and family gathered around, Damen and Camah exchanged vows against the backdrop of serene water and towering trees.
