We had such a great time photographing Maddie’s senior pictures! She goes to Jeff West, and we started her session out at Shawnee Lake. The light was beautiful, and it highlighted her freckles, smiles, and laughter perfectly. Maddie is so photogenic, and I loved how natural she looked in every shot. We also brought out her guitar for some really cool photos that showed off her personality and style. After the lake, we headed to a grungy, industrial spot right at golden hour. The sun gave us the perfect backdrop while Maddie showed off her awesome hip-hop dance moves. From there, we wrapped things up in NOTO, where live music was playing in the background. As the sun went down, the lights of the arts district created such a fun, vibrant atmosphere for the last part of her shoot. What stood out most about Maddie was her confidence and great attitude.  We had such a great time with Branden a few weeks ago! He's a catcher for Jeff West and it was awesome being able to do a session that highlighted his passion. We did these when Lenz Photography was here and it was awesome to collaborate with them! Brandon was a great model and was super relaxed for us!  Last week, our friends Philip and Alexandra Lenz of Lenz Photography came all the way from Knoxville, TN to shoot some of their Iconic Portraits right here in Topeka!!! They were able to create some amazing images for our clients and as always it was a lot of fun to see them again. I always appreciate being able to spend time with them. They are extremely talented and creative and it's great for photographers to have friends in the industry they can spend time with and be creative together with. I decided considering that we were shooting mid day and no lights, we should take things downtown and do a shoot there. They brought their pups and I especially loved their bowties. Too cute.  These are the weddings we dream about. Perfect and photogenic and beautiful and overflowing with emotion. Elizabeth and Sean are one of the most fun and laid back couples we've ever had! One thing I really loved about them is how funny they were... quirky and hilarious. Their bridal party was right there with them. I haven't laughed that much in a long time. And while I was not 100% a knee injury, we brought in Philip and Alexandra Lenz ( Lenz Photography ) all the way from Atlanta, GA to help shoot this wedding. They were the perfect photographers for this wedding party! Overall, we had an amazing time and I'm really excited to share the day with you here! Enjoy!!!
