Mo and Eva go country! - Scranton, Topeka, Osage County, Kansas Children's Portrait Photographers

Image
This summer, Mo and his little cousin Eva went outside for some shots near our studio. My thoughts were to go more country, like overalls, hay and barns. These are some of our favorites. I plan on doing lots more of this sort of thing this year. If you are interested in this sort of setting, please let us know! "Oh Moses, you are such a hoot!" Lazy days of summer! To us, children's shots like this shout Kansas! So if you'd like portraits like this in the spring or summer, please call us soon!

Steve and Sue in Washington State - Topeka, Kansas Portrait Photographers

Image
While in Washington on vacation, Holly photographed her parents Steve and Sue in their beautiful neighborhood. Washington has so many wonderful photographic qualities. It was a fun and good opportunity for her to showcase her parents in the wonderful place they live. These are some of her favorites. Enjoy! Holly visits the Seattle area up to several times a year. If you are in the area and would like portraits done by us while we are out there, please send us an email to piecesofthepicture@gmail.com and we can schedule an appointment next time we are there.

Some much needed time off! Our trip to the beach!!!- Grand Isle, LA

Image
Recently, while back home in Louisiana, we made our way down to the beach, Grand Isle to be specific. Unfortunately, because of the spill, you're still not allowed on the beach, but we spent some time on the pier at the state park and it was goregous. The day was just beautiful. The wind was blowing; the temperature was perfect and there was absolutely nobody out there. It was so peaceful and relaxing, I could have spent the entire day there. Here's a sampling of the shots we got while we were there. Mo loves his hugs... and acting goofy!  Me, my dad and Mo struck a pose! We're cool... and we know it! Tackle hugs!  Mo showing the love!  I think Mo really wanted to get out there and chase some birds! The pelicans were out in full force! We had such a good time that day! I don't think I'll ever forget it. And to top that off, when we left there, we went and had lunch down the road and most of us had poboys. They were sooo good!
