So, Philip and Alexandra from Lenz Photography (Atlanta, GA) and Holly and myself are all out on a couple date at Texas Roadhouse. Our favorite place for steak in Topeka. And we were sort of celebrating a great month that we had all had together before Philip and Alexandra headed out the next morning to go back home to Georgia. The non perceptive person I am never put two and two together as I walked by Jace and Katie's table. It was Valentine's Day and she had a ton of roses on the table. I thought, wow, this dude is showing up the rest of us guys. Nice roses! I come back from the bathroom and moments later I see them stand up and Jace gets down on one knee to propose to Katie. I am not sure I've ever seen a proposal in real life. It was pretty freakin cool! I attempted to record it on my phone but no luck. This past Friday, we had the honor of photographing two very special people! Phillip and Abby are such a great couple and they vowed before friends and family their love for one another.  It was a windy one but Trisha and Jayden were super good sports! They even brought their brand new puppy that they just recently adopted.  WOW OH WOW!!! We absolutely loved shooting Kira and Kevin's engagement shoot!! Tons of fun! We shot their session in Topeka and the colors are amazing. Everything is so vibrant and colorful right now and the leaves and sunlight late in the afternoon make for a very warm and orange glow! I love it!!! So these guys came by and saw their photos and loved them! I am so happy that we get to be a part of creating images that people will really cherish for years to come! Kira and Kevin are such a great couple and while we won't be photographing their wedding (Lucky people are going on a cruise!!!) I am so happy for them and wish them the very best!!!!  This session was awesome. Jami had just been in to see us with her daughter and Jesse set this session up as a surprise for their four year anniversary and for Jami's birthday. It was a very nice surprise and we had a lot of fun. The interesting thing is it started raining as we began their session outdoors. No problem, we just shot in the rain!
