Jude’s senior session was such a fun one, and it was great getting to photograph him again. I’ve also photographed his family before, and one thing that has always stood out to me is how friendly and easygoing he is. He’s just a genuinely nice kid and was completely on board with all of the ideas we came up with during the session. We started at Shawnee Heights High School on the stage with his cello. His mom suggested the location, and I’m so glad she did because we were able to create some really dramatic images using mostly the stage lights. After that, we headed to the Kansas State Capitol, where the skies put on an amazing show for us. The beautiful clouds and evening light made for some of my favorite images from the session. From there, we made our way downtown and stopped at Evergy Plaza. By then it was getting dark, and the fountains were lit up with changing colors.  We're very excited to share this session with everyone! Emily and Clint weathered the chilly Kansas snow for some beautiful and unique engagement portraits! I constantly think about shooting portraits in the snow but rarely does anyone actually take us up on the offer! But these guys had a great attitude and we had so much fun!
