 Our baby girl Jewel turned 6 months old today. We wanted to celebrate by taking some portraits of her. She is such a smiley girl and laughs a lot. She isn't quite sitting up on her own for more than a second or two. Thus the reason for Holly holding her up in the first portrait. However, I had to include that one because her expression was priceless and honestly it really shows off her personality. She is growing up so fast. She is barely fitting into her outfits lol. We're so thankful for her and what a happy place our home is with her. Our boys love her so much. Currently, she's in a growth spurt. She's drinking a lot and growing like a weed. She's also learning new skills, ie rolling and trying to sit up. The crazy thing is due to her growth spurt, she didn't sleep much last night but yet at her session, she was smiley and happy. Anyone who follows us on facebook, knows we adore our boys and we post lots of photos of them. Holly had a great idea to do Tulip Time photos at Shawnee Lake. And I thought that was wonderful as we are doing sessions this Saturday there and I want to show just how amazing the photo opportunities are right now. It's absolutely beautiful!  Our baby boy turned one today. It was a crazy thought just thinking about how a year ago he was born. Doesn't seem possible. This year has flown by for us. We're so thankful for our sons and today we decided to celebrate his birthday all day long. So here are some highlights from the day.  To start Moses and I blew up a bunch of balloons and filled his playpen. He was in for quite the surprise when he jumped in. He was tackling the balloons and flying over them trying to hug them all.  Then we ate breakfast. For breakfast he had oatmeal.  He tried to feed Mo. All done!  Then it was time to open up his presents. Yay!! He just looked at the packages and turned them over. He didn't really get that he had to open them up.
