Interview with Ava Habegger - Senior Portraits Class of 2025 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Image
Ava was absolutely beautiful for her senior portrait session! We had an amazing time capturing her both in the studio and outdoors, and every shot turned out stunning. One of the highlights of her session was getting to include her adorable big dog, Goose. He was such a sweetheart, and the photos of them together were just perfect! When we headed outside, it was freezing ! But Ava came prepared with her cowhide blanket, and let me tell you—it looked incredible. I even told her she looked like she just stepped out of a catalog! Despite the cold, she totally rocked the session with confidence and style. Ava, you were amazing to work with, and I can’t wait for you to see the final images! T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school? Ava: My plans after high school are to attend Washburn University for my first 3 years, then get accepted into a vet school hopefully out of state. T.H. P.: Dream job? Ava:  Livestock and exotic Veterinarian. T.H. P.: What is something you like...

Interview with Haven Kmiec - Shawnee Heights - Class of 2019 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Image
I've met and photographed Haven before but one thing I loved about shooting Haven's session was when we showed up, she walked out with a big smile on her face and it was just a relaxed, fun time. She kept her smile the whole time. Haven's idea for her session was to be all country at a friend's property and I absolutely loved it. All the classic things you'd want for a rustic session, this place had.  Fences, tall grass, beautiful sunlight, wild flowers, old buildings near by. This place had it all and I couldn't have been happier. The afternoon was amazingly beautiful. I'm thrilled with the results. Thanks for checking it out and hope you enjoy! T.H. Peterson:  What do you like most about going to Shawnee Heights? Haven:  Teachers and coaches that have pushed me everyday. T.H. P.:  What are your plans after high school? Haven:  Go to college to study veterinary medicine. T.H. P.:  What is something that you would like to d...

Interview with Dan Richter - Mission Valley Class of 2018 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Image
Thank you for checking out our latest senior shoot. Up next is Dan Richter from Mission Valley High. We took these out at Wabaunsee Lake where he lives. It's a beautiful location that we've been very fortunate to be able to photograph before. I really loved our time out there. The shots at the spillway were some of my favorite. Definitely reminds me of Colorado or somewhere beautiful like that. I also really loved the sunset images on the lake. There's nothing like a beautiful sky, sunset and a lake to wrap up a shoot. It's always gorgeous. Dan was a great subject. He was very easy going and into the session. I always appreciate that very much. Super excited to be able to share these!! Hope you love them! T.H. Peterson:  What is the best thing about going to school at Mission Valley? Dan:  Small school atmosphere, knowing everyone in my class. T.H. P.:  Where would you like to go to college? Dan:  University of Kansas. T.H. P.:  Where do you see ...

Image
Trevor Meyer is a Junior Blue reppin' the class of '16. His session was absolutely stunning! We did experience some crazy wind that Trevor was a little timid of. Once the wind died down, we got some fantastic smiles that truly showed his personality! The light, the colors, even Trevor's hair worked with us so well, I don't think we could've asked for anything better! T.H. Peterson:  What’s your favorite outdoor activity? Trevor :   Basketball T.H. P.:  Who is your favorite teacher at school? Trevor :   Mr. Harvey T.H. P.:  Which song was the best of 2015? Trevor :   Really Really by Kevin Gates T.H. P.:  Where would you take your hot date on a night out? Trevor :  Olive Garden T.H. P.:  What’s your favorite thing to get from Freddy’s? Trevor :  Turtle Concrete T.H. P.:  Would you rather kiss your mom, on the lips, in front of all your friends or have your dad chaperone your next date?  Tre...
