Onyx's newborn session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

T.H. Peterson: How did you find out you were pregnant?

Amethyst: It was a surprise, I have 2 other children and I had a feeling but

was in denial until I took a test. 

T.H. P.: Were there any foods you craved or were grossed out by when you were pregnant?

Amethyst: I craved jalapenos and onion rings but I could not stand anything with red sauce, like spaghetti,  pizza or anything. 

T.H. P.: What was your labor like?

Amethyst: I was induced, got an epidural, and it went pretty smoothly. I was lucky my fiance was able to return home for a week from his rotation. Then we got married a few days after. 

T.H. P.: How did you come up with Onyx's name?

Amethyst: My husband chose his name based off me and my first daughter. We both have stone names and his is a black stone as well.

T.H. P.: What is something you enjoyed about your session with us?Amethyst: I loved how long the session was. We were able to relax and take our time in a cozy environment. The photographer was very friendly and helpful and did well with my kids.

This was a great shoot! Absolutely beautiful day and we took these all over downtown Lawrence. Such a colorful and gorgeous place. I loved interacting with Tara. We immediately knew that Ava was going to have an amazing session!  She was settled and so expressive for her newborn shoot!  She even smiled for us during her session!  We loved her adorable cheeks, her little nose and she even looked cute when she cried.  We know she has her mom and dad wrapped around her little finger already.  We are so ecstatic to share Ava’s newborn session with you!  Enjoy! I am beyond excited to share Cheyenne's maternity session. It was a blast and she was so photogenic! She is due in a couple months and I love the looks we got at the studio and out at the lake. She looks beautiful! The thing that really blew me away was that when she showed up she reminded me that we photographed her with her mom when she was little for her mom's maternity shoot!!! AnnaLeigh's Newborn Session - Interview with mom - Topeka Newborn Photography - Beautiful Studio Portraits

   AnnaLeigh's session was awesome!.  She was so sweet giving us the cutest faces.  One thing I loved was trying the white wrap and background. It made for an amazing setup.
