Interview with Josie Barrow - Holton High School Class of 2024 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

This is Josie. She was so fun to photograph. I really like her! She has a great personality and I feel like we clicked almost immediately; even with mom who was there hanging out with us. She was so nice and the funny thing is mom told me when they showed up that Josie was super nervous about the session and so I laughed because when I was her age, I felt the same way about having my senior portraits taken. I used to be enormously shy and I could relate to her. After a couple minutes, I could see Josie letting her guard down and being herself. I knew this as soon as I saw the most beautiful smile coming from her. I was like, there's no way that's a fake smile! She did amazing. We photographed her session around NOTO and it was the perfect location for her session. The colors made a great backdrop. I feel like they truly matched her personality! Here's some of our favorites! Enjoy!

T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school?

Josie: After high school, I plan on going to college. As of now, I plan on majoring in economics.

T.H. P.: What would you consider a dream job?

Josie: I’m not entirely sure of what my dream job is, to be honest. If I had to pick, though, I would say that I’d like to be a market analyst.

T.H. P.: What classes are you glad to be done with?

Josie: I’m glad to be done with algebra 2, and chemistry.

T.H. P.: What classes are you enjoying this year?

Josie: I’m enjoying team sports, and calculus.

T.H. P.: What is something you liked about your session with us?

Josie: I enjoyed the effort that was put in to make me feel comfortable while taking my pictures.

T.H. P.: Where do you love to eat at in Topeka?

Josie: North Star is my favorite restaurant in Topeka.

T.H. P.: Favorite outdoor activity?

Josie: My favorite outdoor activity is probably softball.

T.H. P.: What are you passionate about?

Josie: I’m pretty passionate about school, I’d say. I also really care about my friends and family.

T.H. P.: What song reminds you of your childhood?

Josie: “Lord Have Mercy on a Country Boy” - Don Williams reminds me of my childhood.

T.H. P.: How would friends describe you?

Josie: My closest friends would probably describe me as caring, lucky, witty, and hyper.
